The Four Idea Stats & How to Raise Them
There are four Idea Stats in the game, each of which is associated with two of the game’s elements. They are:
Idea Stat points are earned in a number of ways, including fighting enemies (unique monsters offer more points, and bosses offer the most) and filling out Blade Affinity Charts. Tora can additionally raise his Idea Stats by using special items from The Land of Challenge, assuming players have the DLC. (This is useful as Tora cannot resonate with Blades)

The fastest way to raise an Idea Stat is by awakening blades and completing their Affinity Charts.Common Blades tend to be somewhat easier to complete, and releasing them with a complete Affinity Chart will grant a bonus reward, making cycling common blades an efficient way of doing this. Mercenary Missions can help expedite this process.
Each Idea Stat caps out at level 10, but they can be raised to 15 temporarily using Boosters when resonating with a Core Crystal.
What Idea Stats Do
Idea Stats influence several elements of gameplay, with the most well-known aspect being the probability of receiving a certain type of Blade from a Core Crystal. A high Idea Stat will increase the probability of receiving a Blade with an element associated with that Stat. Thisis especially valuable when trying to collect all the rare blades(and especially the incredibly rare “KOS-MOS”).
Another lesser-known effect of Idea Stats is the rather incredible effect they have on the damage of their elements. Every level of an Idea Stat adds a 5% boost to damage dealt with elements associated with that Stat, making Idea Stats a surprisingly potent means of amplifying the power of the party.
