WWE 2K24’s latest patch may have made some modes unplayable. Just a few days after the release ofWWE 2K24’s patch 1.11, which itself came a day after update 1.10 rolled out, multiple users reported strange occurrences and incidents which had rendered the game unplayable. Both patches were meant to introduce gameplay stability and fix compatibility issues in regard to the latest DLC and upcoming content, but they created new problems instead.
Many considerWWE 2K24to be the best the franchise has been sinceWWE 2K19. Some fans would even claim that the new gameplay mechanics, as well as the updated modes, have given the game a brand-new coat of paint. 2K and Visual Concepts have done a stellar job of refreshing and revitalizing the WWE series of games, and their work on the latest title has garnered more interest than the previous titles. Unfortunately, it looks like there’s a slight bump in the road due to the latest patch.
WWE 2K24’s patch 1.11 created some issues within the game. KnownWWE 2Kcontent creator Smacktalks had released a video stating that the AI had become wonky after the game got patched. They reported that CPU opponents would randomly enter and exit the ring, and would sometimes pick up and drop weapons for no reason at all. The AI issue gets worse during tag matches as the CPU would often focus on targeting the illegal opponent. Some comments have compared this state of the game with theinfamousWWE 2K20snafu.
Issues Currently Being Experienced By WWE 2K24 Players
Otherusers on Reddithave reported problems with accessingWWE 2K24’s MyFaction mode. This one may annoy many fans because the introduction of Persona cards has made MyFaction a must-play mode. A lot of the Persona cards are hard to unlock, and the easiest way to claim them would be during time-sensitive Live Events in the mode. With several newWWE 2K24MyFaction modelscoming up, and the server issues currently being experienced, it would make it more difficult for players to work on getting said cards.
Still, a small glimmer of hope exists forWWE 2K24fans. 2K and Visual Concepts have been known to work on their games. In fact, there are fans who believe that the teamturnedWWE 2K20around post-patch. While the game is currently deemed unplayable by many die-hard players, there are still a lot more activities and modes to be played within the game, such as MyGM and Universe. Hopefully, the developers find a way to fix the bugs at the soonest possible time.
