For many reasons, sports and video games tend to go hand in hand. For almost as long as video games have been around, there have been many titles that see players participating in sports such asNintendo Switch Sports. Games likeWWE 2K22are rather popular, and gaming fans are regularly seen at wrestling matches, just like one fan who brought a sign defending the plot ofKingdom Heartsto AEW Rampage.Wrestling fans making their support known for their favorite wrestlers through signs has been a frequent trend for a rather long time, but at some point, these signs became a rather fun game for attendees to make their opinions known on television. In particular, the gaming community seems to take advantage of this in numerous ways, such as when wrestling event attendeesused their signs to argue over JRPGs, among other unrelated things.RELATED:Kingdom Hearts 4 Interview Confirms Returning KH2 Feature and MoreAt the recent AEW Rampage championships, fans who watched the event on TNT could occasionally see one fan’s sign that reads “Kingdom Heartsis not that complicated.” This sign is a statement towards how for almost the 20 years theKHseries has been around, it’s been known for having a story that players either think is incredibly intricate, or impossible to follow.

It seems that this fan believes thatKingdom Heartsis easy to understand compared to other people’s thoughts, but the timing of which this player chose to use this sign is rather interesting. Not only doesKHcelebrate its 20th anniversarythis year, but it has also announced thatKingdom Hearts 4is in development. The announcement has revealed that characters from the mobile gameKingdom Hearts Union Xare important to the story, which has divided fans.

KHUXwas rather lengthy and was originally a spin-off title that sought to tell the story behind the Keyblade War, which was an event that already transpired in the mainKingdom Heartsstory. For several reasons, many fans skipped out on the game, and those who didn’t pay it any mind are currently upset that the game is now needed to understand the current plot.

However, many fans have tried tosummarize the events ofUnion Xfor other fans, and the game is also available as an offline “theater mode” game so late adopters can watch the story in full. Even still, the fact that the game features nearly a thousand story-related quests is intimidating to some. In the end,KHUXhas become yet another “complicated” story element toKingdom Hearts, which might play a part in the use of the sign seen at AEW Rampage.

Kingdom Hearts 4is currently in development.
