Two of the more exciting items coming in this patch are the Cowl of the Wolf Ancient and the Claw of Lo’Gosh. Shortly after enteringthe Emerald Dream zone in Guardians of the Dream, players can fly to a cave on the westernmost island. Inside, players will find a Statue of the Great Wolf. Players can loot the Cowl of the Wolf Ancient from the nearby stand, and the Claw of Lo’Gosh by interacting with the statue while having the Wolf Spirit Guardian buff active, acquired from the Mark of Goldrinn a short distance from the cave. The Cowl of the Wolf Ancient can only be worn by Orcs and Mag’har Orcs, but the Claw can be used by all classes that can equip fist weapons.
Were that not exciting enough, players have also discovered Blademaster Stones chest pieces in five colors: purple, blue, red, green, and orange. Unlike the Shaman-themed transmog items, these cosmetics are not in the game yet, so players don’t know exactly how they will be unlocked. That said, the Blademaster’s Azure Stones have a Trader’s Tender cost of 200 associated with them, so there is a good chance they willappear inWorld of Warcraft’s Trading Post.
Fans are understandably excited to get their hands on these cosmetic pieces. Several NPCs inWorld of Warcrafthave used the Cowl of the Wolf Ancient, made famous by the Orc Shaman from the RTS, but it has never been available for players until now. Likewise, Blademaster swords were available in an earliercatalog of the Trading Post inWorld of Warcraft, so players are glad they can finally finish their Samuro-inspired transmogs.
World of Warcraftplayers have also discovered outfitsinspired by Sylvanas and Varian Wrynn’s Lo’Gosh outfit in the Patch 10.2 files. Fans aren’t sure if these transmogs will be obtainable in game, but if they are added, thenWorld of Warcraftplayers are going to be able to mimic a lot of iconic looks fromWarcraft 3and earlyWoW.
