Summary

World of Warcraftis adding some new mounts in Patch 10.2 that are translucent dream creatures. Players can unlock these mounts by infusing their existing ones with a special currencyWorld of Warcraftfans can collect in the new patch.

Patch 10.2, titled Guardians of the Dream, addstons of new content toWorld of Warcraft. Players can explore the Emerald Dream zone, participate in new world events, and collect all sorts of never-before-seen cosmetics and collectibles.

Some of these new collectible items are a series of mounts purchased from the Dream Infuser–a Dream Wardens vendor. When players reach rank 5 with this new Renown faction, they can get new, translucent green versions of several mounts and pets by exchanging Dream Infusion, a newcurrency in theWorld of Warcraftpatch. However, in order to get these collectibles, they need to get one of the normal versions first, allowing them to infuse their existing mount or pet with essence of the Emerald Dream to make a translucent copy.

These newWorld of Warcraftpets and mounts all have clever names inspired by dreams and nature, like Snorr, Reverie, and Drowsey. Here are the different mounts players must collect inWorld of Warcraftif they want to get all the Dream Infused versions in Patch 10.2:

Many of these mounts can be acquired in retailWorld of Warcraftright now, so players who want these Dream Infused mounts can collect them ahead of time to prepare for Patch 10.2. That said, Dreamstags and Dreamtalons are new creatures being introduced in Guardians of the Dream–and ones thatWorld of Warcraftis seemingly letting Druids collectas shapeshifting customizations–so they will have to wait to get them.

Guardians of the Dream could be a great update forWorld of Warcraftplayers who enjoy collecting mounts. The new patch is introducing tons of new rides, includingtwo new customizable mounts that useDragonflight’s Dragonridingmechanic. Players can also collect Dragonriding transformations to make their Renewed Proto-Drake look like Fyrakk, and can even earn Anu’relos, Flames’ Guidance–a fiery owl mount that is the first non-dragon to be enabled for the dynamic flying system. With Dragonriding becoming an evergreen feature soon, mount enthusiasts will be flying high over the next fewWorld of Warcraftupdates.
