Witcher 3 Next-Gen Version Coming 'Soon'

It’s likely the game will arrive sometime between now and late December 2022. Since the end of the year is rapidly approaching, it’s likely CD Projekt Red will have more to share in the near future. The developer has already confirmed that owners of theWitcher 3: Wild Hunton PS4 and Xbox One won’t have to pay any additional money for the upgraded version. The same next-gen upgrade will be rolling out for PC players as well. While visuals are sure to be a major focus of the update, combat may also be improved, possibly includingThe Witcherseries' celebrated dismemberment system.

The update will improve gameplay and graphics on all next-gen systems but won’t offer any changes for the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
