The developer has already confirmed that owners of theWitcher 3: Wild Hunton PS4 and Xbox One won’t have to pay any additional money for the upgraded version. The same next-gen upgrade will be rolling out for PC players as well. While visuals are sure to be a major focus of the update, combat may also be improved, possibly includingThe Witcherseries' celebrated dismemberment system.

The update will improve gameplay and graphics on all next-gen systems but won’t offer any changes for the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
