One of the first to be encountered is a large talking jar named Alexander. you’re able to find Alexander early in the game near Stormhill. He will be calling out for help due to his peculiar situation of being stuck in the ground. He asks the player to give him a good smack in the behind to get him out of the dirt.
Not only is his strange appearance funny, but the fact that you have to help him get unstuck is some of the most lighthearted fun you can find in this game. Without spoiling anything, Alexander can be found in multiple spots throughout the game and is already considered a fan favorite.
6Character Creation
Being an RPG,Elden Ringallows players to take on the role ofany character they can imagine. The game offers tons of aesthetic choices and customizable features while making a character. With this much freedom, you’re able to only imagine the ridiculous looks some fans can come up with.
With practically limitless facial customization, it is possible to make characters that don’t even look remotely human. The internet is filled with wacky and hilarious character models people have come up with. It’s great to see that FromSoft is still letting players have fun with how they choose to play, no matter how goofy it is.
5Traps and Surprises

This allows you to spawn three little jars to help you in battle. The pun in the title, as well as their appearance, makes them probably the funniest ashes in the game.
3Clothing, Armor, And Other Equipment
Elden Ringfeatures amassive collection of gearand weapons for players to collect. Most of these are fearsome and deadly swords paired with a glistening suit of armor. However, FromSoft loves to also include some unorthodox equipment for those with a less serious disposition.
A massive pumpkin-like helmet, heavy armor with a huge belly, and massive finger as a weapon are just a few of the ridiculous pieces of gear players can find. Other than a few good laughs, this also makes sure the game is always surprising its audience.
2Messages Left By Other Players
A staple of FromSoft games for over 10 years now is the message system they’ve created for their games. First-time players will quickly notice small notes left on the ground all throughout the game’s world. These were designed as a way for players to communicate with others, allowing them to provided feedback and information on what they’ve encountered.
As you may imagine, a lot of these notes are more comical than helpful. With only limited words and templates to use, players have still managed to say some seriously funny stuff. Lying about hidden walls, telling people to jump off cliffs, or simply writing “fort, night” are some of the most frequent messages left byplayers looking to troll more than assist.
1Miriel Pastor Of Vows
Magic and miracles are some of the most powerful skillsfor people to learn inElden Ring. They allow only the most knowledgeable sorcerers to produce spells that can destroy or manipulate the world. Most NPC characters that help teach the player these skills are what you’d expect in any fantasy game — sorcerers with pointy hats, priests in cloth robes, and warriors hardened from battle.
One character that proves not to judge a book by its cover, though, is Miriel The Pastor of Vows. Located at the Church of Vows, players will quickly realize he’s a little different. Miriel is a massive sentient tortoise wearing a pope hat. One of the few characters that can teach both sorcery and faith incantations, Miriel is expected to be a very powerful magic user. His shocking appearance provides a smile to just about anyone who meets him.
