For the past 25 years, they have been building up a diverse group of original characters that are slowly catching up to others in both legacy and popularity among gamers. Characters such as Nathan Drake and Kratos are one of the many faces representing thePlayStationbrand. Because of their popularity andfrequent collaborations within the industry, there are some odd butinteresting cameos that feature various PlayStation characters.
7Sackboy In Minecraft
Sackboy is the main protagonist of theLittleBigPlanetseries. He is a humanoid doll that players can customize to their liking. A large part of theLittleBigPlanetgames is the ability to create and customize, so it is no surprise that Sackboy and otherLittleBigPlanet-related media is available as DLC for PlayStation versions ofMinecraft.

Not only can players play as Sackboy, but the DLC also turns the mobs of the game into looking like him.
6Kratos In Shovel Knight
One of the more, if not most popular PlayStation characters is Kratos from theGod of Warseries. Kratos is a Spartan warrior who ravages the Ancient Greece landscape to avenge his family due to some trickery of the gods. He later wound up in the Scandinavian area. As one of the faces of the console, Kratos has had a few appearances outside his game, the most interesting one would be the PlayStation versions ofShovel Knight.
Kratos is a secret boss in the game. He is unlocked after a player meets certain conditions, such as finding a special map. A rendition ofBlades of Chaosis played during the battle.

5Sweet Tooth In Rocket League
While it isn’t a character, Sweet Tooth is one of the prominent vehicles from theTwisted Metalseries. It has appeared in each installment and is driven by the main protagonist, Needles Kane.Twisted Metalis acombat game where players drive around, destroying each other until they are the last one standing.
While not in the same category,Rocket Leagueis also a car-based competitive game that does a lot of collaborations, so it was only natural for the Sweet Tooth to appear in the PlayStation 4 version of the game. Players can unlock the vehicle after playing one match with every common body.

4Kat In Destiny Of Spirits
Kat is the main protagonist of theGravity Rushseries. The original and sequel were well received and still have a loyal following among gamers. Despite this,the game was seen as a commercial failure by Sony. So it was a surprise for some to see Kat appear in another game by Sony calledDestiny of Spirits.

Destiny of Spiritswas a strategy RPG for the PlayStation Vita. It incorporated gacha mechanics (loot boxes) with a traditional RPG. Ratchet and Clankare the main titular characters from one of Sony’s longest-running franchises. The games usually take place in various galaxies where they save the day. The games combine platforming, puzzle-solving, and third-person shooting into one package. It is one of Sony’s more profitable and popular franchises, with over ten installments released over the past 20 years.
Despite its popularity, they haven’t appeared much outside of a few games. But their most prominent (and strangest) cameo is in the PlayStation 4 version ofSuper Bomberman R. They are in the speed class category, and one of their abilities is to pierce through bombs with their gun.

2Toro In Street Fighter x Tekken
Toro Inoue is a cat who first appeared in the Japan-only release ofDoko Demo Issyofor the PlayStation 1 in 1999. He is a Japanese bobtail cat who wishes to be a human. He was named after a debugger from Sony.Gamers outside of Japanwon’t probably be too familiar with him, but over there, he is the unofficial mascot of PlayStation.
His most famous cameo would be PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, but the most baffling one would be from another fighting game,Street Fighter x Tekken. For the gamers who use Ryu as their fighter of choice, using Toro won’t feel out of place as his fighting style is centered around his fighting style.

1Pipo Monkeys In Metal Gear Solid 3
Pipo Monkeys are the face of Sony’s dormantApe Escapefranchise. They are those monkeys that theplayer must capture in the games. The Pippo Monkeys have appeared in other video games, but their most notable cameo is inMetal Gear Solid 3.
In a mini-game called Snake vs. Monkey, Solid Snake is tasked to capture the Pipo Monkeys from causing more havoc in the jungle. Solid Snake can only use the EZ gun during the mini-game. The original mini-game had five stages but expanded to seven with the release ofMetal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence.Snake vs. Monkey was later omitted from the HD and 3DS versions of the game.
