Where The Bewildering Wood Is Located On The Map
On the map, the Bewildering Wood can be found to the far eastern border, a bit north of the starting city Nexton.Players will have to cross a single-tile wooden bridge terrain card to reach the entrance to the Bewildering Wood. Before entering, be sure that one has stocked up on healing items and curative consumables. This dungeon is full of tough enemies–tougher than any seen so far in this early portion of the game.
How To Find The 4 Stelae In The Bewildering Wood
About The Stelae Quest
A Stela is a large stone with writing carved upon it. There are a few of these in the Bewildering Wood, which the player will learn about from reading a signpost to the east of the entrance. The signpost also signifies the middle of the Bewildering Wood and is a good marker to remember while exploring to prevent getting lost.
The player will be tasked with finding all 4 Stelae that reside in these woods, as this will unlock a final one that can be interacted with to exit the forest and move on to the next map of the game.

How To Find The South Stela
This is a pretty good choice to start one’s Stela search, as it is arguably the closest to the central signpost within the Bewildering Wood.Head south from the signpost tile to find a curve that leads around a thick wood tile. Keep following the curve in a counterclockwise path to reach the end of it on the east.
The Stela that is located here is the southern one, and interacting with it will give players a clue about the western stone. After exploring the nearby area for loot, head back to the signpost. From that point, it is recommended to go west in search of the stone hinted at by the South Stela.

How To Find The West Stela
From the signpost, go west, toward the entrance that brought one into the Bewildering Wood. Very close to the entry tile, just northeast of it will be the West Stela. The entry tile can be identified by the yellow footprints within a circle that appears on it.
This Stela will not be here when one first enters the dungeon, and will only appear after one has both read the signpost tile and found the South Stela.

How To Find The North Stela
Once more, return to the signpost to get one’s bearings. After that, players should hear north to find the next Stela. The North Stela is located in the northwestern corner of the northern chunk of the Bewildering Wood. This one will offer no hints or witty flavor text–only the acknowledgment of a fulfilled criterion.
If players have already found the South Stela and West Stela, this will mean that only the eastern stone remains to be found out of all 4 Stelae. It is advised to leave the East Stela for last, as it is closest to the final Stela and the exit.

How To Find The East Stela
This one is pretty close to the signpost in the middle of the dungeon, so head back there first before seeking out the East Stela. Once that has been done,go directly east and players should find the Stela pretty easily if they travel in a straight line.
On the corner of this large stone, the text “Melody of Fortune” is scribed, hinting at the next part of this quest. If this is the last Stela that was needed to be found, a passage will open up just north and a bit west of the East Stela. Head through it and proceed north to find the final Stela.

Interacting With The Final Stela To Get Out Of The Bewildering Wood
Here’s where the Woodland Flute that the player got from the doctor in Thriceton will come into play. When interacting with the final Stela, players will be prompted with the option to play the Woodland Flute. Doing so will progress the events so that a guide will show up.

This guide, a native of the Bewildering Wood, will open up the exit of the dungeon, which will be slightly north of the final Stela’s location. Go that way to be free from the foggy and monster-crowded forest.
How To Beat The Monsters In The Bewildering Wood Easily
Easily the most annoying enemies to deal with are the stalwart Treants that live in abundance here within the Bewildering Wood.Their high defense stats and ability to heal themselves make them tedious to fight. However, there are some ways to take them down quickly and efficiently.
Mar’s Body Slam Skill
The Body Slam skill of the character Mar is excellent for fighting monsters with high defense stats.Usually, attacks have their damage subtracted by the value of a target’s defense, however, dice roll attacks do not.Mar’s Body Slam is such an attack, which rolls 2 six-sided dice to get a damage value.
This value will be applied directly to the target’s HP, which can also be a critical hit if one is lucky. This means that there is a guaranteed way to deal between 2 and 12 damage to a Treant in a single turn. Mar’s Body Slam needs 1 Gem to be used, so be sure to accommodate for this in battle.

Melanie’s Flame Skill
As some may probably be able to guess, Melanie’s Flame skill is very effective against the Treants and their wooden bodies.Type advantages are very important inVoice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, as the bonus damage against certain foes will make traveling much smoother.
This is also a great thing to keep in mind as one is exploring other areas, so be sure to equip one’s characters with a variety of skills as to always have an advantage in battle.
