Epic Games has unvaulted the Six Shooter and the Infantry Rifle, and fans are curious to see how these additions will affectFortnite’smetagame.Chapter 4 Season 1 will be coming to an end very soon. On March 8, players will have to say goodbye to the Fractured season and see where the storyline will take them next. It is likely that update 23.50 will be the last one to come out before Season 2 starts, but Epic is still making changes to the game and ensuring fans remain active until the end.
With the release of v23.50, the Most Wanted event officially came to an end. It was a success, and most fans tried their hardest to acquire all the free cosmetics it had to offer - including theSolid Skull back bling. The exotic heist weapons were removed with Most Wanted’s ending, but to make up for this, two awesome weapons were added back into the game for a sweet comeback before the season finale.

The Infantry Rifle and the Six Shooter pistol were put back inFortnite, and they will play a part in the Cypher quests event. These two unvaulted weapons will be necessary to complete some of the new quests, and this gives fans a crucial piece of information. The Cypher quests will be available until March 10, which means that not only will the Infantry Rifle and the Six Shooter be around until the end of Season 1, but they’ll also be part of Season 2 - at least in the beginning.
It’s great that these weapons were unvaulted during this time. The SCAR Assault Rifle, previously a fan favorite, suffers terribly from a bloom issue, which causes most players to ditch it for any other medium-range weapon when given the chance; the Infantry Rifle will become the perfect substitute. The Six Shooter is extremely fast and with thepistol-related Reality Augments available right now, it can quickly become a very threatening weapon.
It’s impossible to tell what other weapons will be added or removed once Season 2 starts, but at least until March 10, players can test out the Infantry Rifle and the Six Shooter. There have been no teasers or leakers regarding the nextFortniteseason, so it’s difficult to speculate and attempt to figure out what direction Epic Games might go in. Hopefully Epic will announce aFortnitelive eventsoon to ensure that Season 1 goes out in style.
