Popular Twitch streamer Felix Lengyel, better known as xQc, became visibly angered during his recent attempt to beat fellow streamer Forsen’sMinecraftspeedrun record.Minecraftis known for its open-ended gameplay, where players have the freedom to explore, build and unleash their creativity. Yet, as a popular speedrunning title, it adds an extra layer of excitement and competition for players who strive to break records and achieve the fastest completion times.

For years, xQc and Forsen have had a fierceMinecraftrivalry on Twitch, with each attempting to beat the other’s speedrun time. In April 2021, Forsen broke xQc’s record by completing the game in just 20 minutes and 38 seconds, which was only 7 seconds faster than xQc’s time of 20 minutes and 45 seconds. After two years of trying,xQc finally beat Forsen’s record at the beginning of 2023, but his record did not last long. Last month, Forsen posted a video on Twitch of himself completing the game in just over 18 minutes, beating xQc’s record by two minutes.

The clip ofForsen’s record-breaking run quickly went viral, and he taunted xQc on Twitter, suggesting that a 20:05 time would be an embarrassment on the platform. Since then, xQc has been seen regularly on Twitch trying to beat Forsen’s record. During a recent stream on April 24, xQc was on track to beat his personal best time, but he ran into a series of unfortunate events, including unlucky spawns of structures and enemies. This included missing an Ender Pearl throw, falling into lava, and being pushed off a bridge by a Wither Skeleton, ultimately leading to his decision to restart the run. His disappointment was evident as he repeatedly slammed his desk in frustration. Please note the following clip has some offensive language.

Despite these setbacks, xQc remained undeterred and continued to speedrunMinecraftfor the next three hours of his stream. This isn’t the first time thatxQc has become visibly upset during aMinecraftspeedrun, as a viral clip from December 2022 shows. In that clip, xQc was desperately trying to obtain flint to progress to the Nether and continue with his speedrun. However, he wasn’t able to find the flint in time to beat Forsen’s record.

DespitexQc’s intense rage and outbursts during hisMinecraftspeedruns, it’s refreshing to see someone who is so passionate about the game. While it’s clear that he could handle his frustrations better, his dedication to improving his gameplay and beating Forsen’s impressive speedrun record is undeniable.
