Clearly, there are a lot of video game franchises on sale at GOG, but The Witcher Universe Collection is one of the cheapest bundles available right now. That may have to do with the popularity of Netflix’s recentThe Witcherseries. The show has proven to be so popular that it has led to a resurgence of players returning toThe Witcher 3, as well as a whole wave of new fans playing the game for the first time. In fact,The Witcher 3broke its previous player recorddue to the popularity of the Netflix series. With this sudden rise in a player base, it makes sense that digital retailers may want to discount the games to further entice fans into making a purchase.
The WitcherUniverse Collection’s sale ends January 4th, 2020. GOG’s winter sale runs until January 2nd, 2020, at 2 PM UTC.
