Now, the Pokemon Company has announced a surprising piece of merchandise centering around Ditto. Available only in Japan, The Pokemon Company has revealed a giant, pink sofa complete with Ditto’s iconic smile and beady eyes.
The Ditto sofa is exactly what one would think of when picturing Ditto turning into a piece of furniture. Much like the recenthuman-sized Metapod cocoon sleeping bagthat was recently revealed, the Ditto sofa is a massive furniture item that consumers can incorporate into their own rooms. The sofa is priced at 25,990 yen, meaning it would cost about $249.88 over here in the US. Unfortunately, westernPokemonfans won’t be able to purchase this Ditto sofa for themselves, as it is currently only available for purchase in Japan.
Though, that might be a good thing for somePokemonfans, considering there is definitely a camp out there that thinkDitto itself is a fairly creepy Pokemon. It’s very likely that some fans wouldn’t want to own a sofa that literally stares back at them from across the room.
