Williams.” Although the game’s director, Neil Druckmann, stated a couple of years ago that Ellie’s last name is Williams, this is the first in-game confirmation that this is in fact her last name. It’s somewhat surprising that her surname has never been mentioned in theLast of Usgames before, so this reveal was a long time coming.
Fans of Ellie will likely be excited to know thatThe Last of Us 2 Remastered’s “Lost Levels"may include additional information about her background, specifically her relationship with Dina and other Jackson inhabitants.
