Just a few weeks shy of the release date, ZeniMax Online Studios has released a new trailer for the latest DLC content update toThe Elder Scrolls Online, titledThe Elder Scrolls Online: Stonethorn.
The newest DLC for the game, announced earlier in the year, brings 2 dungeons to theProvince of Skyrim, both with a heavy focus on dark sinister villains and newly raised armies. As with every DLC, players should expect new Achievements to complete, as well as new foes to vanquish and new unique rewards to obtain, including exciting new gear and collectibles.

When released, players will be tasked with visiting Castle Thorn and confronting a rising vampire army led by the mysterious Lady Thorn, which not only threatens the people of Skyrim, but all of Tamriel. The DLC promises to continue the year long Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline that began earlier this year for both veteran players andnew players ofElder Scrolls Online.
In addition to the Stonethorn dungeon, players will be also be tasked with traveling to the Stone Garden, which is located in Blackreach. Once there, players will find a laboratory filled with horrifying creations and a mad Alchemist with diabolical plans. The two dungeons will mark the nineteenth DLC pack released forThe Elder Scrolls Onlinesince its original release in April of 2014, andStonethornwill be available on Google Stadia firston August 24.
TheElder Scrolls Onlinecontinues to be a major part of Bethesda’s lineup of games with every new expansion. Earlier this week, Bethesda announced that console players of the game will be able to continue theirElder Scrolls Onlineadventures on next-gen consolesat no additional cost if they upgrade to a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, saving players a bit of cash on next gen versions of the game once they’re released.
