10Lifeguard Cassidy

Blindingly Blonde

There have been lifeguard skins for several different heroes inOverwatch 2, including Mercy, Lifeweaver, and Kiriko, butCassidywas the very first character to get a lifeguard skin back whenOverwatch 1was still around, so it seems right to include this skin on the list.

Cassidy is missing his shirt with this outfit, as is to be expected from a lifeguard, but he does have a fetching pair of red lifeguard swimming trunks and a colorful towel wrapped around his shoulders to replace his poncho. He sports a bleach-blonde hairdo to go with the whole beach bum look and has also had his revolver replaced with a flare gun.

9Ice Cream Orisa

The Perfect Treat

For those craving something a little sweeter with a summer-themedOverwatch 2skin, Ice CreamOrisais an excellent choice. The details on the new textures make this skin stand out, such as the waffle cone textures on Orisa’s legs, the dripping chocolate spread throughout, and the sprinkling of nuts.

The skin is topped off with a literal cherry and some whipped cream, finishing off the Neapolitan ice cream theme perfectly.

8Sand Castle Bastion

It’s Coarse and Rough, and it Gets Everywhere

Bastion’s Sand Castle skin is a fun skin that replaces the usual textures of Bastion’s metallic omnic frame with a sandy design, making him look like he was crafted by a particularly talented beach-going child.

His head model is replaced by a green and plastic upside-down sand castle pail, and this colorful plastic design is used throughout the design for the nuts and bolts that connect Bastion’s limbs.Bastion’sbird companion, Ganymede, becomes a seagull with this skin, and he wears a blue, red, green, and yellow tank top to match Bastion’s color scheme, along with some fetching sunglasses.

7Poolside Ashe

Pink Hair and Pink Flamingoes

Ashe tends to be one of the more intimidatingOverwatch 2heroes, so it’s always nice to see her let loose with a more laid-back skin. The PoolsideAsheskin is a great example of this, depicting what both she and her large omnic butler companion, Bob, would look like while enjoying a day out at the beach.

Ashe sports a pink ombre hairstyle and wears a swimsuit, complete with arm floaties and a new water gun look for her rifle. Bob also has floaties, though he is on his legs and a cheesy Hawaiian shirt. The flamingo inflatable hat is the standout element of Bob’s Poolside look.

6Surf’s Up Echo

Hot Robot Girl Summer

Echo’s summer Surf’s Up skin is incredibly pretty and fascinating to look at, thanks to the water effect that flows through the parts of Echo’s body that aren’t covered up with armor. She also has an eye-catching, anime-style hairdo (even though it isn’t technically hair, it’s as close as one can get) and surfboards that replace her regular wings.

Make sure to have the Paddleboard emote equipped when using the Surf’s Up skin, asEchowill use her surfboard wings to start paddleboarding.

5Scuba Sigma

Diligent Diver

Sigma might be older than some of the other characters, but he can still rock the shirtless summer look, as demonstrated by his Scuba skin. Sigma is showing a lot of skin with this outfit, as he dons some rather tight swim shorts and a scuba diving contraption connected to his back and shoulders.

He also has flippers and is sporting fancy facial hair. Players who are keen to get an eyeful ofSigma’ssurprisingly rock-hard abs and impressive calves are sure to want to get their hands on this summer skin.

4Beachrat Junkrat

Australian Winter

This is the only skin on this list released for the Winter Wonderland event rather than the Summer Games, thanks to Australia having summer during the months that we consider winter (thanks to the Equator). Junkrat has the typical beach bum attire with this skin, such as arm floaties, swimming trunks, and sandals. He also has a blob of sunscreen haphazardly smeared on his nose and bright yellow sunglasses.

The best part of this skin is the giant rubber ducky that replacesJunkrat’srip-tire. It’s hard not to smile when players see it on the battlefield, even if it is on its way to blow them into tiny pieces.

3Grillmaster Soldier 76

Raising the Steaks

There is no denying that Soldier 76 gives off plenty of dad vibes, and his Grillmaster 76 skin only cements this idea. This skin is all about those middle-aged man stereotypes, such as a love of the grill, steak-related puns, khaki shorts, and wearing socks with sandals.

Along with a floral shirt and reflective sunglasses, the skin also includes an apron with various grilling utensils attached. Said apron is also adorned with one of those aforementioned steak puns. TheOverwatchcommunity was overjoyed with this skin when it was released, as it perpetuated the Dad 76 persona that fans had givenSoldier 76. If players are among those Dad 76 fans, this is the summer skin for them.

2Mermaid Symmetra

The Little Architect

Symmetra is a hero who has some awesome skins inOverwatch 2, and her mermaid skin is undoubtedly one of the best summer skins. The Mermaid skin is not only pretty, thanks to the iridescent blue, purple, and turquoise color scheme, but it’s also designed in a clever way to make it look likeSymmetrahas a mermaid tail (without removing her legs).

She wears leggings with a scale texture that have fin-like flaps hanging down her legs, making it look like a tail is swishing behind her when she moves. The skin is finished off by gorgeous, long, white locks and bright, turquoise eyes.

1Surf ‘n’ Splash Torbjorn

Showing Some Skin

Despite the other summer skins on this list all being great in their own way, Torb’s Surf ‘n’ Splash is undoubtedly the ultimate summer skin that players will find inOverwatch 2. Torbjorn rocks a pair of blue Speedos and an orange fanny pack around his waist. That already sounds amazing, but it only gets better from there. His claw hand is recolored to look like an orange plastic beach toy, complete with sticker decorations, and his hammer is now an inflatable.

His rivet gun has been transformed into a water gun and his backpack has two plastic sandcastle pails attached.Torbalso dons a fashionable orange swim cap and has decorative shells in his beard. The skin is finished with two plastic green fish that cling to the ends of Torbjorn’s beard. It’s stylish, it’s summery, and it features a scantily clad Torb. These elements come together to not only make Surf ‘n’ Splash the best summer skin, but quite possibly the best skin thatOverwatch 2has to offer.
