The six friends who made up the core group onThat ’70s Showdelivered some memorable quotes over the years. They were known for burning each other while also making fun of Eric Forman’s father and sister and mocking trends of the ’70s they didn’t particularly like.

While the guys of the group were more known for their quotes,Jackie Burkhartdelivered some gems throughout the series. Vain but witty; conceited but caring, Jackie could deliver some of the most biting wit onThat ’70s Showwhen she wanted to do so. And many of these quotes made her a fan favorite.

10I Am The Bitch! And You Love Me

Jackie had been trying to get Hyde’s attention during one of her many breakups with Kelso. When Hyde wouldn’t go out with her, she started hanging around Chip. During a barbecue, Hyde and Chip were talking when Chip decided to insult Jackie and that led to Hyde doing the chivalrous thing.

Jackie noticing that Hyde punched Chip wanted to know what led him to resort to violence. Through Hyde’s stuttering, Jackie is able to deduce that Chip called her a “bitch” and Hyde punched him to stand up for her. While it would be a while before Hyde and Jackie would actually start dating, it was the first sign that something more was there on Hyde’s side.

9The Woman Just Needs To Be A Cook In The Kitchen, A Maid In The Living Room, And An Acrobat In The Bedroom. And I Can Hire A Cook And A Maid

Jackie Burkhart definitely has a unique outlook on life, especiallyfor the 1970s. Raised in a family where her father was rich and her mother was either a hardworking real estate agent or a gold digger depending on which season she appeared in, Jackie has differing ways of looking at life.

This quote comes from when Jackie has come around to be more vain and conceited. It appears this would be from when they made changes to her home life. Jackie views a woman as a housekeeper who also keeps her husband happy. She recognizes she won’t be a good housekeeper but having grown up with money, she’s certain she can hire one or two.

8It’s Better To Have Loved And Lost Than To Be Butt-Ugly

Another example of Jackie’s unique outlook on life is her own physical beauty and how she views its importance going forward. She thinks beauty is a major component for love. She spends a lot of the series being thankful she is not fat or ugly and wishing being fat or ugly on her enemies.

This quote demonstrates her view perfectly as she’s convinced anyone who has loved and lost is physically attractive. While most adults understand that physical beauty is only skin deeps, it’s a lesson that Jackie had trouble learning throughout the series.

7I Don’t Really Cook Much. I Just Plan On Getting By On My Looks

Another example of Jackie’s unique outlook on life and her poor housekeeping skills, especiallyfor the 70s, comes when Kitty is trying to teach her how to bake. Jackie knows she needs help, and she turns to the best mother she knows: Eric’s mom. But when Kitty asks her if she has ever made a pie before, Jackie delivers this gem.

Jackie is vain throughout the majority of the series. She is convinced her physical beauty will get her anything she wants. Eventually she learns how to be a good girlfriend with Kitty’s help throughout the series, but at this point, she still just isn’t there. But she still delivers hilarity when it matters.

When Kelso is expecting a daughter with a woman named Brooke, he makes a surprising choice for godparents. Despite Eric and Donna being right there, Kelso asks Hyde and Jackie to be the godparents to his daughter. That leads to Jackie delivering this quality quote about her constant popularity.

Jackie and Hyde really don’t know what it takes to be godparents, but both are happy to be able to hold it over the heads of Eric and Donna. It’s one of those quotes that tells the viewer exactly how Jackie views herself and canbe a horrorfor those on the receiving end.

5Look, The Sooner You Realize I’m A Genius The Better Off We’ll Both Be

While much of the series focuses on Jackie’s physical beauty and vanity, oftentimes it mentions how intelligent she actually is. She often does her homework on Saturday nights, so it doesn’t wait until Sunday. She is in academic clubs at school. And she does very well on her SATs

But this quote is about more than just her academic excellence. She comes up with many of the gangs good ideas. In her relationships, almost anything good that happens for Kelso or Hyde comes from Jackie. The same applies to her friendships as her advice benefits Donna many times as well. She may be vain, but she isn’t dumb. Her genius is an underrated partof the show.

4Look, If I Could Run Across The Beach Into My Own Arms, I Would

While this could be viewed as Jackie being vain, it can also be recognized here as Jackie knowing her own worth. Jackie has major problems in her relationships with Kelso and Hyde. Kelso was a serial cheater. Hyde had no respect for Jackie. Many times the best person for Jackie in her relationships was Jackie.

This quote puts a nice focus that she wants someone similar to her because she treats herself best. The ultimate irony seems to be thatFez is the only member of the groupwho views Jackie this way, and she ends up with him in the final season only to be back with Kelso by the time of theThat ’90s Showreboot.

This is another one of those quotes that cuts right down the line of being vain and conceited while also being a great example of believing in oneself. Jackie was having a rough go at the time, so she sent herself flowers with a note saying how much she loved herself. Sometimes, people need that kind of pick me up, even if it comes from themselves.

It was a great quote. It was a smart move. Yes, it’s something that could be done out of vanity. But, it could also be something that helps someone lift themselves up.

2The Beautiful Cannot Be Held Responsible For The Havoc Our Looks Create

While some of Jackie’s quotes can be vain or uplifting depending on perspective, this quote is just vain and conceited. It’s Jackie Burkhart when her confidence has oozed into arrogance. The fact she delivers this line toKelso makes perfect senseas both were way too invested in their looks.

Vanity along with physical beauty can create massive problems. Jackie and Kelso normally didn’t care and viewed it as someone else’s fault if havoc followed their beauty.

1I’m Everybody’s Type. That’s My Thing

If one quote would perfectly encapsulate Jackie Burkhart, it’s this one. It is vain, arrogant and conceited, but it also describes her confidence. She has found a new guy she likes, and she wants him to like her even if others don’t think they go together.

Throughout the series Jackie had great relationships with everyone in the friend group. While there were massive flaws with her romantic relationships with Kelso and Hyde, her friendships with them are great. She and Eric may pick on each other, but they are friendly. She and Donna are the perfect odd couple of friends. Jackie even has a friendlyrelationship with Redwhich is hard to do. Jackie Burkhart, despite being a vanity project to herself, found a way to be everybody’s type onThat ’70s Show.
