It’s that time of year. Halloween has passed, Thanksgiving is around the corner, it’s getting a bit colder, and theholidays are approaching. That means that Black Friday deals are now being revealed, and that is the case for Target.
Targethas released its first batch of Black Friday deals. Leading up to and after Thanksgiving, in which the store will be closed, Target will have many items on sale. Different items will be discounted throughout the coming days, with the massive Black Friday deals still being made available a few days after the big sale day.

Target revealed some video game dealsfor Black Friday a couple of weeks ago, and that is expanding with the new information. From November 15 through November 21, Target will have electronics, beauty, and apparel deals. Beginning on November 22, and lasting through November 28 (minus Thanksgiving), Target’s Black Friday sales will be available, with featured products from every major category, which happens to include video games.
The gaming deals go live on November 22, and fans of Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox have deals to look forward to. The PS4/PS5 deals includeWatch Dogs: Legion, Ghost of Tsushima, andCrash Bandicoot 4for $40 instead of $60, all 2020 games. Last year’sStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderwill be only $25, instead of $60. Perhaps the two biggest deals areFinal Fantasy 7 Remakefor only $25 andThe Last of Us: Part IIfor just $30, two titlesnominated for The Game Awards 2020.
For the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, some of the same deals are in place that the PS4/PS5 has, includingCrash Bandicoot 4, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Watch Dogs Legion. Before players take advantage of some deals, includingMinecraft: Dungeonsfor $15, they may want to double-check if that game is onXbox Game Pass (which could eventually come to the Switch and PlayStation), a subscription that in many ways is more valuable than any Black Friday deal.
Some believe thatNintendo will dominate the holidays, even with new consoles from Xbox and PlayStation. The Switch already has a massive library of games to choose from, and the deals that Target is sharing are enticing. Among the highlights,Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battlewill be available for $15, instead of the usually $50. Luigi’s Mansion 3 is only a year old, but Target is selling it for $40 instead of $60. The same note goes forThe Legend of Zelda: Link’s AwakeningandSuper Mario Maker 2, both 2019 games that will be discounted to $40 from $60.
