There are certainly questions regarding the timeline of Bulkhead Interactive failing to meet its promises regardingBattalion 1944’s console versions and its work onTransformers Reactivate. Kickstarter backers that never received their keys will have hopefully received their refunds now, but are certain to be frustrated by the situation. Bulkhead’s likely frustrated by the situation, too, judging by its comment on now having the “right partner,” which comes across as an insult toward Square Enix.
Bulkhead ended its relationship with Square EnixonBattalion 1944in August. Four months later, Bulkhead has now been acquired by Splash Damage and is working on a massive licensed multiplayer game. Regardless of the situation that led to this, which is likely rife with unfortunate circumstances, here’s hoping that the team is able to put its experience to effect withTransformers Reactivate.
