Elder Scrollsfans have been on a roll lately, churning out incredible creations based onSkyrim,the franchise’s most popular – or at least best selling – entry. The game has had a lasting impact on the industry, inspiring other games, media, mods, and a plethora of other content. While it’s not uncommon to see replicas of in-game items, one player has gone above and beyond with an impressive piece of art.
Over on Reddit, user MarciaMaan shared a recreation of theDaedric Warhammer found inSkyrim,which is one of the iconic late-game weapons from the series. It’s an immaculate recreation to find in the real world, with MarciaaMaan nailing the small details featured on the hilt and hammerhead. It’s incredibly intricate and looks as close to the real thing as one could hope to get.

MarciaMaan elaborated on how they recreatedSkyrim’sDaedric Warhammer in the comments, stating that the handle is made from a broomstick while the hammerhead is made from a sort of foam. Then, the artist carved the hammer into shape using a rotary tool, before adding on other small details that were made out of foam. It might be hard to tell just by looking at the Daedric Warhammer, but the studs are apparently made out of googly eyes. However, the googly eyes do make the hammer rattle, apparently.
According to MarciaMaan, the only thing wrong with the Daedric Warhammer is its size, as it’s apparently on the small side. The creator plans on making another, bigger one, though they intend to use the current one as a reference for the work they do on the larger warhammer. While it might not be a 1-to-1 replica of the real thing, that really doesn’t detract from what’s been created here, simply due to how visually impressive it is.
Other users have been creating equally impressive replicas over the course of the last few months. One of the most notable was a recreation ofSkyrim’s Skeleton Key, which is a central artifact in the Thieve’s Guild questline. It’s all evidence ofSkyrim’simpact on gaming culture, and it shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.
Skyrim’s 10th anniversary is this year, with the game launching all the way back on June 23, 2025.The Elder Scroll 6has been officially announcedsince 2018, but it’s still in the design phase. That means there could well be half a decade before fans get to play it, so they may want to keep on with theirSkyrimplaythroughs for the time being.
