One of the many alluring qualities thatThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimpossesses is the extreme level of user agency that players are given. Considering how open-ended the presentation of each area and mission inSkyrimis, it allows for some unique opportunities for players to individually approach the game. Though, one player has recently illustrated that sentiment in the most creatively hilarious way possible.
While each dungeon design inSkyrimis different from one another, they all tend to possess a lot of the same gameplay features, such as traps. These various in-game traps range from spike walls, fire spouts, tripwires, and sound traps that alert enemies when triggered. Nearly all ofSkyrim’sbest dungeonsfeature these traps in some form or another, and while they’re typically intended for the player, enemies can actually trigger these traps as well.

Over on Reddit, a user named marren17 posted a gameplay clip showing how they were able to kill numerous draugrs using a spike wall in one of the dungeons. For some of the draugrs that took more than one hit to kill, the player changed their position in-game so that the draugrs would run in the direction of the trigger, causing the spike wall to reactivate again.
This is an interesting example of how players have continued to push the limits of what can be accomplished withinSkyrim. Despite being over a decade old, fans ofSkyrimare still managing to find creative things to do within the game. To the point where some players have managed to achievepacifist runs ofSkyrim.
It’s amazing thatSkyrim’spopularity has managed to persist for as long as it has. Few other games have managed to be ported across subsequent console generations and have remained relevant within the gaming community for over a decade. The fact thatSkyrim: Anniversary Editionwas met with such positive attention from so many fans of the game further showcases the adulation that players have forSkyrim.
