Nintendo has remained tight-lipped on what fans can expect to see at the event beyond that it will be 40 minutes long and focus on Nintendo Switch games releasing this coming winter. This means fans shouldn’t expect updates on Nintendo games releasing this fall, but they may be able to look forward toupdates on games likeLuigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, the untitled Princess Peach game, and maybe even The Indigo Disk DLC forPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
While Nintendo itself hasn’t revealed much about what fans can expect from the Nintendo Direct, leakers have offered some clues about what the show might entail. If the leaks are to be believed, the September 2023 Nintendo Direct is going to be a big one, with reveals for franchises likeDonkey Kong,racing game seriesF-Zero, andMetroid Prime.
There’s a very slight chance the Nintendo Direct could also see the reveal of thenext Nintendo console, but fans shouldn’t hold their breath. Anyone interested in trying the early access version ofMortal Kombat 1will need to pay for the more expensive versions of the game, but those versions tend to come with extra goodies as well.
