Sasuke Retsuden continues to impress the fans with its incredibly intriguing plot and mysteries outside of the areas of the world of the ninja. Most importantly, characters of the old, such as Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno continue to get more attention and that is certainly something that the fans enjoy thoroughly. In the previous chapter, Sasuke attempted to get to the bottom of the mystery in Tatar prison, and there, he was met with Meno and Zansul.

Attempting to fight both of them, Sasuke only came to the conclusion that they were far more dangerous than he expected them to be. In this week’s chapter, this mystery continues further and he aims to get down to the depths of the dark aura that surrounds this place, and at the very same time, aid his friend, Naruto, who is dying of a serious illness.Sasuke Retsuden chapter 3was a mixture of mystery and hope, sprinkled with a bit of romance between the Uchiha couple.
Sasuke’s Big Fight
As mentioned towards the end of the previous chapter, Sasuke is now scrutinized heavily by those in Tatar. He was beaten by the guards and subjected to rough treatment throughout the beginning of the chapter. Later, however, Sasuke continued on his mission to find out more clues about the observatory and, more importantly, the two most prominent figures there, Zansul and Meno. Shortly afterwards, Sasuke found himself battling the beast that is Meno once again. This time, it was confirmed that Genjutsu does not work on these people. Zansul has access to glass eyes which prevent him from falling prey to the Sharingan and Meno’s case remains to be a mystery for the moment.
Sasuke continued to fight Meno once again, however, this time he was in much greater danger. Meno somehow managed to graze Sasuke and immediately afterwards, he started feeling the effects of a toxin that coated its claws. Looking in a very bad condition, Sasuke would certainly have suffered even more in this fight had Sakura Haruno not come to his aid.
The Arrival Of Sakura
Sakura Haruno was always going to make a big impactin theSasuke Retsudenmanga series and chapter 3 saw her spring interaction for the very first time. Shortly after Sasuke was wounded in his fight against Meno, Sakura came to his rescue and, moments later, Sasuke found himself in the medics' office. Thanks to her incredible prowess as a medical ninjutsu user, Sasuke’s life was spared. A bit more context was provided to the fans about the current ongoings of the family. By the looks of it, Sarada is currently staying with Iruka, while Sakura was asked to deliver an update to Sasuke.

Thanks to Kakashi’s research, a big clue aboutthe Sage of Six Pathsand his illness was uncovered. Now, Sakura brought this very message to her husband and it appears to be incredibly important in the overarching plot of this arc. More than that, Sakura herself is an incredible addition to the ongoing story. Fans know her to be a very powerful character and that is something that the story highlights in this chapter once again. Sakura is extremely capable and quite shrewd as well. With her on his side,Sasuke is sure to succeed in his mission. So far, fans have seen very little of this husband-and-wife duo in the original series, and the sequel, Boruto.
This spin-off manga gives everyone a chance to witness their teamwork and the love that they share for each other. This was, once again, highlighted in the chapter when Sasuke held a conversation with Jiji, who suggested that husband and wife should never be apart. As apparent in the chapter, this makes Sasuke reflect on how he has treated his family over the years, for the sake of duty. Whether this will have a lasting impression on his character or not remains to be seen. Nonetheless, Sakura is now with Sasuke on this mission and her job is going to be to ensure that both her friends, Naruto and Sasuke survive this ordeal.
The Map Of The Heavens
Sasuke Retsudenchapter 3 saw Sakura play a major role in more ways than one. Not only did she save Sasuke, but she also delivered incredibly important information to him, and by extension, the fans. According to the note that she brought with her, the Sage of Six Paths was afflicted by a very serious illness once and when he arrived here, he saved the land from a falling meteorite, the light of which somehow rid him of his illness. The debris of this meteorite is called Ultra Particles and these particles areexactly what Sasuke is now looking for. The Sage also left clues for those who seek this power in the future.
According to him, those who are in quest for this power must revel in the Map of the Heavens. Now, Sasuke’s job is to find the Map of the Heavens in an attempt to save his best friend, Naruto Uzumaki. Sakura will surely try to help him on this mission and uncover whatever secrets she can on her own. That said, finding the Map of the Heavens is not going to be easy as the couple doesn’t even know what it actually is. To that end, work has now begun andSasuke Retsudenchapter 4 is certainly going to add a lot to that. The manga is getting more interesting with each passing chapter and the mysteries of Tatar Prison andthe Sage of Six Pathsare likely going to get more intriguing as the story moves towards its climax.
