Reynolds reportedly will not be legally able to make quips of his thinking while filmingDeadpool 3. In other words, he’ll have to stick to the script when he’s playing the merc with the mouth, which will probably be an issue for him and the film itself,knowing how Deadpool established himselfdue in part because of Reynolds' improvised one-liners.

This is likely detrimental to the film because Reynolds was quite good at making timely quips to a superhero movie whose primary appeal is its comedy. Reynolds truly was the perfect casting for the lovably annoying Wade Wilson becausehis style meshes with Deadpool as a character. Of course, it’s not like the comedy depended entirely on Reynolds' improvisations. It’s not like it’s the end of the world if Reynolds doesn’t get to improv, even if it’s in his wheelhouse.
There was more substance to Deadpool, even though it was primarily a comedy. It took on serious subjects like Wade coming to grips with his new life as a mutant and trying to stop a mass murderer before he went on his rampage. It was more than another simple superhero movie or even a comedy. While the comedy inDeadpool 3may suffer from the writers' strike, the story shouldn’t be bothered as long as they make it compelling enough. WithHugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine, there’s a lot of potential there.
