Despite releasing only a few weeks ago, there has already been a lot of fan-made content featuring elements fromResident Evil Villagein some capacity. Whether its fanart, cosplay, or mods ofResident Evil Village, there’s a lot of creativity to be had in terms of this game. However, a more recent mod incorporates bothResident Evil VillageandBloodborne.
While the game may have released over six years ago,Bloodbornestill remains one of FromSoftware’s most popular games. One of the biggest reasons is due to its memorable aesthetic. The environments, clothing, weapons, and bosses inBloodborneare very unique to that particular game. In fact, players can now seeone of the most iconic bosses fromBloodborne, Lady Maria, fight against one of the most popular characters fromResident Evil Village.

This newBloodbornemod pitsLady Dimitrescuagainst Lady Maria in an all-out battle. Even though the mod is intended to be more of a spectator event for players to watch, it’s still quite impressive to witness. Especially considering how well incorporated Lady Dimitrescu is in the game. She seems to fitBloodborne’saesthetic pretty well, to the point where Lady Dimitrescu could pass as an enemy NPC, if it wasn’t for how clean and well dressed she is.
Compared to a lot of the texture and gameplay mods currently in circulation, it’s fairly uncommon to see a mod such as this where it’s just two characters fighting each other. Then again, there have been a great deal of strange mods to come from bothBloodborneandResident Evil Village. Just recently, someone made amod that progressively increases the size of Lady Dimitrescu’s hat.
The sheer volume of mods that are currently being made forResident Evil Villageshow no signs of stopping either. This could be due to the fact that the game is still very new, but it very well could come down to the fact that the game presents a lot of potential for unique mods. The amount ofridiculous Nexus mods forResident Evil Villageto release in the span of three weeks is astounding.
It will be interesting to see if any other mods like the Lady Dimitrescu vs. Lady Maria mod begin to circulate as a result. Members of the modding community could easily continue inserting Lady Dimitrescu into otherResident Eviltitles. Plenty of fans would likely want to see her fight some of the classicResident Evilmonsters such as Mr. X or Nemesis.
