While not all updates have been a success, a new video has emerged which illustrates why the online game and its unpredictability can be so much fun for players.
Players can huntlegendary animals inRed Dead Onlineand many enjoy the past time as they can get new garments and rewards. However, hunting animals can be tricky and they can run away as well as attack players if they get too close. A Reddit user experienced the unpredictability of nature when hunting Legendary Gator, and they uploaded their experience online. It should be noted, that it seems that the player had already killed the animal as they approached it.

The player and a companion approached a dormant Legendary Gator inRed Dead Onlinebefore beginning to skin the animal. However, the animal still looks the same after this action, and the player accesses their menu while their companion stands in front of the alligator. In a flash, the companion is swallowed up by the leaping animal and the player who has already got the skin begins to walk away. This appears to be a glitch, given that the alligator had already been skinned but this gave players an entertaining shock. It is unclear what happened next but it seems that the Reddit user CrimZn1 began leaving the scene after the attack, which is understandable given the resurrection of the legendary animal.
This new twist to catching aLegendary Animal inRed Dead Onlineis surprising but it is a testament to the entertainment value of the title, where things can change quickly. The victim of the alligator has yet to comment on their thoughts on the matter but given the rarity of an event such as this taking place, they will likely look back on it positively despite the immediate negative impact of the death. At the moment this seems to be an isolated incident but players will likely be cautious when skinning alligators after this.
Despite some updates making the game a worse experience, many feel thatRed Dead Onlineis currently operatingwell, even with changes. Alongside this improvement in performance, this video may encourage players to return to the game and once again experience the unpredictable nature of the game.
