As well as their own custom character,Dragon Ball: The Breakersallows players to use special survivor skins that are based on some of the weaker characters from thelong-running manga and anime series. Each one boasts its own unique active skills for use in matches, providing players with plenty of reasons to check them out rather than sticking with the default survivor character.

Mr. Satan holding

The first two skins inDragon Ball: The Breakerswere based on Bulma and Oolong, with the Farmer skin added as part of the Season 1 battle pass upon the game’s full release. With multiple seasons planned for the asymmetrical multiplayer game and hundreds from which to choose from, many players are now wondering which otherDragon Ballcharacters will be coming toThe Breakersas skins in the future.

Hercule

Perhaps the most obvious candidate for a skin inDragon Ball: The Breakers, Hercule (or Mr. Satan, depending on which dub one prefers) is one ofthe best comic relief characters in anime. Despite winning the World Martial Arts tournament on multiple occasions and being incredibly strong for a human, his weakness when compared with the series' heavy hitters really does make him the perfect choice.

Some of the previousDragon Ballgames have chosen to massively raiseHercule’s power levelsto shoehorn him in, butThe Breakerswouldn’t need to go to such lengths. Unlocking a recognizable character like Hercule would undoubtedly be a lot more appealing to players than a random farmer, so it seems all but certain that he’ll be showing up in the game at some point, probably sooner rather than later.

Monaka in Dragon Ball

Monaka

Monaka may be a relatively new character, but that’s not to say that he wouldn’t still make for a great skin inDragon Ball: The Breakers. First introduced inDragon Ball Super, the skinny pink alien stood alongsidewarriors from Universe 7in a mini pre-Tournament of Power competition against members of Universe 6, with Beerus making out as though he was the strongest member of the team.

Mai in Dragon Ball

However, despiteMonaka going on to win the tournament, this couldn’t have been further from the truth, as Monaka is both a coward and a weakling. Like Hercule, though, his lack of powers makes him a prime candidate forDragon Ball: The Breakersand would allow the developers to include one of the franchise’s more recent characters rather than leaning too heavily onDragon Ball Z.

Mai

In truth, any one of the Pilaf Gang would make a great survivor inDragon Ball: The Breakers, but Mai just about gets the edge over her two companions on account of her being a more well-rounded character, not to mention a more fleshed-out one. Having anotherfemaleDragon Ballcharacterprobably wouldn’t be a bad thing either, especially with so many of the series' main heroes being of the male variety.

Being one of a troublesome trio, Mai could offer some useful and unique active skills were she to be added toDragon Ball: The Breakersas a skin. A little likeFrieza with Zarbon and Dodoria, being able to summon Shu and Pilaf to serve as distractions could be incredibly useful when placed in a tight spot, as too could her proficiency with firearms.

Yajirobe in Dragon Ball

Yajirobe

Yajirobe may not bethe strongest character inDragon Ball, but he might just be one of the bravest. He’s demonstrated this on numerous occasions, most notably, perhaps, when he put his life on the line to slice off Vegeta’s tail during the closing stages of the Saiyan saga. With Great Ape Vegeta set to be added as a raider in a future update, it’s quite possible that the masterless samurai could soon follow as well.

GivenYajirobe’s connection to Senzu Beansand the fact that the rejuvenating vegetables are already in the game, an active skill in which he’s able to pull out a bag of Senzu Beans every few minutes would make a lot of sense. The fact that he also carries around a samurai sword paves the way for an offensive ability too, a little like the farmer’s shotgun skill.

Launch

When it comes toDragon Ballcharacterswho would make great survivor skins forDragon Ball: The Breakers, Launch seems like the obvious choice. Her split personality disorder sees her transform from a mild-mannered and harmless young woman to a hot-headed and trigger-happy thug in the blink of an eye, which is something that the developers really could put to good use.

Although there are certainly morepopularDragon Ballcharactersto choose from, the fact that the Season 1 farmer skin is based on an obscure character who’s only appeared on screen in a handful of the anime’s episodes shows that the developers aren’t afraid to think outside the box. This bodes well for Launch, as well as fans of old-schoolDragon Ballwho’d love to see her added to the game.
