Misdreavus and Mismagius areexclusive toPokemon Violet, whilePokemon Scarlethas exclusive access to Drifloon and Drifblim. The two Pokemon were available in alimited-time Tera Raid event, but unfortunately, that exclusivity remained in place. Here’s wherePokemon Violetplayers can evolve their Misdreavus into Mismagius and howPokemon Scarletplayers can get in on the action.
How to Evolve Misdreavus into Mismagius
Pokemon Scarlet & Violetplayers can evolve Misdreavus into Mismagius by using a Dusk Stone.Dusk Stones are available in thePorto Marinada auction houseand as a Pokedex completion reward. Players can do this at any time, but there’s a big catch to it.
Misdreavus learns a number of moves that are no longer available to Mismagius once it evolves. Powerful moves like Pain Split and Perish Song are only available while the Pokemon is still a Misdreavus, while others like Shadow Ball and Confuse Ray need to be learned via TM if players evolve a Misdreavus too early.

Because of this, it’s highly recommended that players have a general move set in mind for their Mismagius and wait until their Misdreavus reaches level 46 to evolve it. Level 46 is when Misdreavus learns its final exclusive move, Perish Song.
If all this is too stressful, players can simply catch themselves a Mismagius in the wild. The Pokemon can be found at night around Casseroya Lake and in North Province Area Two. Here is Mismagius’ Pokedex habitat page:

How to Get Misdreavus and Mismagius in Pokemon Scarlet
Pokemon Scarletplayers can trade for a Misdreavus or join a Tera Raid battle hosted by aPokemon Violetplayer. Players who have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription can use some of the popular, fan-embraced trade codes that allow players totrade for version exclusives. Just have a Drifloon ready to swap, and players will be able to get a Misdreavus with ease.
