According to a new leak,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetcould be adding a new Mythical Pokemon in a future update.Pokemonfans could be forgiven if they assumed that Nintendo and Game Freak had already closed the book onPokemon Scarlet and Violet. After all, the games released back in 2022 and have already had over a year of support through updates and substantial DLC expansions.
Pokemon Scarlet and VioletDLC released in two parts. The first was The Teal Mask, which takes place in Kitakami and featured a slew of brand-new Pokemon for players to catch along with returning favorites from previous generations. The second was The Indigo Disk, which had playersvisit the Blueberry Academy in the Unova region. The DLC was followed up by a special Epilogue, which focused on a brand-new Mythical Pokemon called Pecharunt.
Pecharunt’s debutinPokemon Scarlet and Violetwas believed to be the end of support for the games, but a new leak suggests that even more is on the way. According to the latestPokemon Scarlet and Violetleaks, shared by Centro Leaks and seemingly originating from Riddler Khu, a new Mythical Pokemon is on the way forPokemon Scarlet and Violet. This new Pokemon will supposedly be featured in the next animatedPokemonmovie. Additional details are not available at the time of this writing.
WithPokemon Scarlet and Violetalready releasing an Epilogue update, some may have assumed that this new Mythical Pokemon, whatever it may be, would instead be for futurePokemongames. New main seriesPokemongames come out on a fairly regular basis, and one has to imagine that the Generation 10Pokemongames are well underway at this point. However, it seems that there are still some adventures yet to finish inPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
When Will the New Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Mythical Be Revealed?
The leaks didn’t reveal when the newPokemon Scarlet and VioletMythical will be unveiled to the masses, but the obvious time to do it would be Tuesday, February 27.February 27 is Pokemon Day, which often includes a presentation with brand-new looks at upcomingPokemonprojects. Perhaps the newPokemonanime movie will be announced at the event and fans will be introduced to the new Mythical, but that’s just speculation at this time. Like with any leak, fans should take all of this information with a grain of salt, but hopefully concrete answers come to light sooner rather than later.
