Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Teal Mask DLC will include a new evolution for Applin called Dipplin, making the unique apple-like Pokemon look like a candied apple. Dipplin is a Grass/Dragon-type Pokemon, but it’s unclear what players will need to do to make Applin evolve into Dipplin. Dipplin will be available beginning September 13 in The Teal Mask DLC, while the other three new Pokemon revealed during the Pokemon Presents will be added in The Indigo Disk later this year. They are a new evolved form for Duraludon named Archaludon, as well asParadox formsfor Raikou and Cobalion named Raging Bolt and Iron Crown, respectively.
New Pokemon Revealed During the August 2023 Pokemon Presents Event
Credible leaker Riddler Khu recently teased thatPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Teal Mask would includeseven brand-new Pokemon. Assuming that’s accurate, there are still two new Pokemon to discover in the DLC come September 13. It’s possible that Nintendo or The Pokemon Company will unveil those two mystery Pokemon before the Teal Mask release date rolls around on September 13, but it’s also entirely possible that fans misinterpreted what Riddler Khu was teasing. If that’s the case, it’s possible that the only new Pokemon in The Teal Mask will be Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, Ogerpon, and Dipplin. Fans will just have to wait and see on that front.
While discovering and catching new Pokemon will be hugely exciting forPokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers that pick up the DLC, they will also be treated to new story content, new areas to explore, new mini-games to complete, and more. Needless to say, thePokemon Scarlet and VioletHidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC packsshould keep fans plenty busy when The Teal Mask drops on September 13 and when The Indigo Disk launches this winter.
