Once players finish the first step, they must choose between Skarmory, Trevenant, or Azumarill path.

Choose Trevenant Path
The recommended selection for the Great League Greatness Timed Research is the Trevenant path. It is because obtaining aTrevenant inPokemon GOusually takes time. Collecting 200 Candy and finding its pre-evolution, Phantump is challenging since it is considered a rare catch. So, this path poses an excellent opportunity to get a ready-to-battle Trevenant.
It’s worth noting that the Trevenant path rewards encounters with Trevenant, Noctowl, and Lanturn. All these three monsters are among the top-performing Pokemon in thePokemon GOGreat League. It makes opting for the Trevenant path highly advantageous without any drawbacks. The only situation where one might consider an alternative is if they already possess all three Pokemon beforehand.
Choose Skarmory Path
The Skarmory Path rewards players with Skarmory, Vigoroth, andSwampert encounters. If Trevenant isn’t the choice, the next good option is the Skarmory path inPokemon GO. This path offers an encounter with Swampert, which performs exceptionally well in the Great League and Ultra League.
The chosen path relies on the personal choice of thePokemon GOtrainers. If any path includes encounters that still need to be captured or evolved, the better option would be to choose it. The tasks for all three paths are the same, so the decision can be based solely on the Pokemon encounters. For the players that already possess all reward Pokemon, the emphasis should be on acquiring the Candy needed to evolve or power up.
