Pokemon GOhas announced a new Hatch Day featuring Cleffa that will take place on April 28 from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. During the event,Pokemon GOplayers will hatch Cleffa more frequently from 2 KM eggs, with the chance of a shiny Cleffa appearing. Cleffa Hatching Day will have the bonus of double Candy when hatching eggs, increased odds for players to get a shiny Cleffa, and 2 KM eggs will drop more often whenPokemon GOplayers spin PokeStops.

During Hatching Day,Pokemon GOplayers will have access to free Timed Research with XP and a Super Incubator as rewards. For $1, trainers can purchase Timed Paid Research that will reward them with twice as much Stardust when they hatch eggs, a Star Piece, a Super Incubator, and XP. Between April 26 and 28 from 10 am to 5 pm,Pokemon GOplayers will only need half the required distance to hatch eggs, a new event-themed Field Research will be available, and two new bundles will be up for purchase, one in the Pokemon GO Web Store, and the other inPokemon GO’s in-game shop.
Cleffa isn’t one of the rarest Pokemon inPokemon GO, but its appearances are relatively uncommon. Before the upcoming Hatch Day, the Pokemon appeared inPokemon GO’s New Year’s event, in which Niantic increased the chances of players hatching one of 7 KM eggs. Cleffa Hatch Day will also be a good opportunity forPokemon GOplayers to farm Candy, an important resource for increasing the power of their Pokemon.
