Yukiko Amagi is the fourth teammate to join inPersona 4 Golden. Just like every other teammate, she serves as one of the protagonist’s many Social Links. Yukiko’s Arcana is the Priestess. The higher the Rank, the more experience players can get from a Priestess-aligned Persona through Fusion.
Yukiko’s Social Link (Rank 1) unlocks on May 17th. From that point onward,Persona 4 Goldenplayers can hang out with her during their Free Time. Fortunately, she’s one of the earlier Social Links, soP4Gplayers can get her Social Link to Rank 4-7 before the last party member joins. Knowing how to respond to her will make ranking up much easier.

Where to Find Yukiko
The protagonist can hang out with Yukiko onMondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays,andThursdays. Like the other IT members, she’sunavailable on rainy daysorduring midterms/finals week. On school days, she can be found on the1st floor of Yasogami High School. During holidays, she’ll appear in theShopping District (South).

Before spending the day with Yukiko, players will want to ensure they havea Persona with thePriestessArcana. This willincreasethe Social Link points. The following Personas are part of the Priestess Arcana:

Rank 1
Yukiko’s Rank 1 is automaticon May 17th. If players have enough Courage, they can outright ask for her number and earn Social Link points. However, this may not be possible on a first playthrough, since asking for a girl’s number requires level 3 Courage.

For most female Social Links, rank 9 is where the protagonist can potentially start dating them. If the protagonist is already in a romantic relationship with someone else,P4Gwill warn the player. It’s possible todate everyone available at once. Doing so will alter certain scenes and dialogue, but will have no gameplay effect on the main character or his partners.

Rank 10
LikeRank 1, going from Rank 9 to Rank 10 is automatic. The scene will play out differently depending on whether the protagonist is dating Yukiko. However, all responses will yield the same results/points. Once a Social Link reaches Rank 10, there’sno need to continue getting Social Link pointsfor them.

Social Link Completion Reward
Upon completing Yukiko’s Social Link, the protagonist will receive aShrine Charmkey item. This allows players to fuse the Ultimate Persona of the Priestess Arcana: Scathach. The Shrine Charm willcarry over into NG+, meaning that players can Fuse Scathach as soon as they unlock the Fusion feature.

In addition to this, Yukiko will awaken to her second-tier Persona:Amaterasu. She’ll also get theSocial Link Skill: Evade Ice. Thistriplesthe evasion against Ice attacks, so it’s important to replace one of her current Skills in favor of this one. If players are onthe path to the True Ending, then maxing out Yukiko’s Social Link is required for getting her third-tier Persona,Sumeo-Okami, in January.
