Palworld: Max Level Cap
Currently,the maximum level inPalworldis 50 for both you and your Pals. You can check it yourself by going to the Technology tab in the game menu or by pressing the T button on your keyboard. Scroll down, and you will see that the max level cap is 50, and with it, you will open 3 Technology and 1 Ancient Technology.As for the bases, their maximum level is 15.
However, it should be considered that the game is still in early access, and there is a good chance that the developers will increase the max level cap when the full version of the game is released. With the increase in the maximum level, a lot of new content, weapons, structures, and items will be added to the game. That is why we do not recommend you to rush the game if your goal is to have as much fun as possible.

Palworld: What Is Level Sync?
The game has a system called Level Sync that reduces the level of higher level Pals to yours. For example, if you caught a level 18 Pal, and your level is 10, the game will automatically reduce the statistics of the caught Pal to level 10. And to take full advantage of the caught creature, you need to raise your personal level to 18. It is also worth noting that even if you have a lower level than your Pal, you’re able to still increase the level of the latter.
Due to the lack of knowledge of this system,Palworldnewcomers often make one of themost common mistakes— catching high-level Pals. Catching creatures much higher than your level is a waste of time, as you will have to spend more effort to capture it. Only rare Pals can be an exception.
