Players began reporting these emote and victory pose bugs before theOverwatch 2maintenance on October 7, but these issues still persist after the game’s downtime. Players who are able to successfully log intoOverwatch 2are poking fun at the game’s numerous problems in the official Overwatch Reddit. For instance, KrystalKris601 was able to screenshot the victory pose bug as it happened. The bug affected all the characters on the winning team except for Kiriko, one of the new characters introduced inOverwatch 2.
Currently, Blizzard is working to fix many ofOverwatch 2’sproblems including the Error LC-208 bugthat prevents players from logging into online servers. Players may report these issues directly to Blizzard’s support website, which is constantly updated with users submitting problems found inOverwatch 2. Many of the issues include cosmetic bugs involving character skins, emotes, and victory poses.
Unfortunately, Blizzard’s official bug report forOverwatch 2does not explicitly mention emotes and victory pose problems as an area the development team is addressing. Blizzard will release multiple updates to address login issues and bugs, but a timetable for the updates was not given. Blizzard appears to be targeting issues of high priority involving game mechanics, online servers, andmerged accounts inOverwatch 2.
AlthoughOverwatch 2is considered to be in an early access stage, the launch has been a dreadful experience for the player base. Some players are still unable to connect online inOverwatch 2while others are able to break mechanics within the competitive space. The new updates must ensure thatOverwatch 2is a stable and immersive experience for casual and competitive players alike.
Overwatch 2is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
