There are quite a lot of rare outfits inGTA Online,but there are a few that require a lot more effort to unlock than others.
Players like to customize their character in-game. Hard-to-obtain outfits help players to stand out. Wearing these threads is also something players do to show off to friends. From superhero outfits to festive costumes, there are lots of interesting ways to dress inGTA Online.
1High Roller Outfit
Hunt For Playing Cards
To unlock this outfit, players will need to collect 54 different playing cards that are scattered around the map. These cards have fixed locations, but players would be forgiven for not bothering to collect them all since there are so many of them.
The outfit is a little underwhelming when compared to some of the other ones featured here, and players aren’t likely to go hunting for over 50 cards to unlock an outfit that they probably won’t use. While players will also get 66,650 casino chips and a unique set of playing cards that can be used in theplayer’s casino penthouse, it still isn’t a worthwhile outfit to grind for.
2Impotent Rage
An Iconic Character Come To Life For Players Who Enjoy Collecting
This outfit can be unlocked in an afternoon, albeit a tedious one. To unlock the Impotent Rage outfit and haircut, players will need to collect 100 Action Figures. These figures are dotted all over the map.
Finding all of these Action Figures is a tricky task, even with the help of online tutorials. Should players decide to complete this challenge, they will earn a total of $150,000, which isn’t abad payout for running around collecting toys.
3The Frontier Outfit
A Long, Tedious Hunt
Unlocking this outfit requires players tosearch shipwrecks for outfit scraps. There are a total of 30 shipwrecks, and outfit scraps will only spawn at one location each day. Players will need a total of 7 outfit scraps to unlock this pirate-themed outfit. So,it takes a minimum of 7 days and lots of searching to unlock this outfit.
Some players justifiably don’t have the patience to bother unlocking this outfit. But those who do have it can dress up and impress other players with their pirate captain attire. Players also receive $20,000 for every daily chest found, which works out to $140,000 over 7 days.
4The Alien Outfit
Another Collecting Challenge
Similar to the previous entry, players will need to search all around the map for collectibles to unlock this outfit. Solomon’s movie props have been stolen, and it is up to the player to find them and return them.
There are a total of 10 movie props that players will need to find.While this is considerably less than the number of items needed for the Impotent Rage outfit, some of the locations that movie props can spawn in are random encounters.
This can mean players having to jump from server to server in the hopes of finding them. On top ofgetting the Alien Outfit, players also receive a total of $150,000 for completing this challenge.
5Sasquatch Outfit
Rockstar loves scattering Sasquatch appearances in its games. FromRed Dead RedemptionandVice CitytoGTA Online,the Sasquatch has made several memorable appearances inGrand Theft Autogames.
The Sasquatch Outfit is one of the most difficult outfits in the whole game due to how it could be obtained. This outfit was given to players who logged in on June 19, 2025. Unfortunately, players can no longer snag this Sasquatch suit. That is unlessRockstar decides to bring it back in a future event.
6The Snowman Outfit
This was a limited-time event, so players who haven’t already unlocked the outfit won’t be able to obtain it. To unlock it,players needed to head to 25 different locations and destroy snowmen.
With it being a festive challenge, it took place over the Christmas period. Because it took place over Christmas, lots of players were unable to complete this challenge, making it one of the rarer outfits inGTA Online. Not only would players unlock the outfit, but they would also earn a total of $250,000 upon completing it, making it one of the most financially rewarding challenges in the game.
7Penitentiary Coveralls
Required Fans To Play A Game In The Definitive Edition Trilogy Before A Set Date
This item is also no longer available. Players could only get this outfit by playing any title of theGTA Trilogy: The Definitive Editionbefore July 03, 2025.
This is a very unique outfit inGTA Online.While players can get their hands on other prison-themed threads, this particular prison jumpsuit comes from Liberty City. It’s a cool nod to an older game in the franchise, specificallyGTA 3, and something that players love wearing. Perhaps this will make a comebackwhenGTA 6is finally released.
