Saint Garling Figarland passes judgment even on Celestial dragons, which means he holds a status higher than average Celestial dragons in One Piece.

He is also an incredibly powerful individual. Fans also got to see him in the flashback, 38 years ago, on the island of God Valley. There, he was declared the Champion of God Valley, meaning he won the Native Hunting Games. It is also possible that he has a Devil Fruit ability, given that there were many Devil Fruits as prizes on that day, and Garling likely won one. Regardless, fans know that he’s very powerful and will have an exciting role to play later down the line.
