Ninja’s manager and wife, Jessica Blevins, has held a vote on social media letting fans have their say about where the hugely popular streamer should stream next. The poll follows a hugely successfulsurprise Twitch stream where Ninja playedFortnitewith Dr Lupo.
On Twitter, Jessica Blevins tweeted out a poll, asking where fans “would like to see Ninja streaming most” with the options being Twitch, YouTube, and “other.” So far, Ninja’s former home, Twitch, has the most votes with 71.5% or more than 42,000 people saying he should come back to the platform. Just 16.3% or 9,700 say thatNinja should go to YouTube, where he held another surprise streamlast month.

Another 12.2% or 7,260 people voted for Ninja to move to an “other” platform. Some fans feel that Ninja should make his own streaming platform, some joked that he should move to Instagram Live, and others suggested that he should become a Facebook Gaming streamer. When Mixer shutdown,Facebook Gaming did offer to stay true to Ninja’s dealwith the now-defunct platform, but he reportedly turned it down. This makes it unlikely that Ninja will move to Facebook Gaming, but as this is the platform Mixer merged with, it’s not surprising that fans are suggesting it.
The poll is fascinating to fans for two reasons. The first is that it suggests that Ninja hasn’t made up his mind about where he will stream next. In an interview,Ninja said that he wants to get into movies and television shows, suggesting that he now sees streaming as just one pillar of his brand and total career. If the Blevins family is consulting with fans about a move, it could be a while until Ninja’s next platform is announced.
It also suggests that there are now two frontrunners in the race to get Ninja’s signature. In July, journalist Slasher revealed thatTwitch, YouTube, and Facebook Gaming are all trying to sign Ninja to exclusive streaming deals. If Blevins felt that a Facebook Gaming deal was potentially going to happen, why would Ninja’s manager not make a “Facebook Gaming” option in the poll? The decision to relegate the platform to “other,” along with Trovo, Caffeine, and every other streaming platform, doesn’t really yell positivity.
