A new set of deals for Microsoft’s game console, theXbox Series S, have surfaced on several retailers' websites. The promotion comes a month after theXbox Summer Saleand offers a tempting selection of games bundled with the sub-$300 gaming system. The games are available from Microsoft Store, Amazon, and GameStop, with offers differing depending on the seller.
TheXbox Series Sis of course the entry-level model for Microsoft’s fourth-generation console, which offers most of the features of its sibling at a more affordable price. Now for the regular $299.99 price, the offer includes not only getting the console with one wireless controller but also a digital game from a selection of several titles. Typically, prices for these bundles range between $350 and $360. Finding the preferred game from Microsoft’s own bundles also gifts the buyer with an additional $10 discount beyond what the promotion offers elsewhere.

The games include AAA titles, likethe critically-acclaimedElden Ring,Madden NFL 23, andHalo Infinite, but vary depending on whether the purchase is made via GameStop, Amazon, or Microsoft. At this point, Walmart, eBay, or Best Buy don’t seem to be offering the promotion.
Here’s the list of games available on Amazon:
Microsoft offers only three games with its bundles, one of which isn’t available via Amazon. So for an extra $10 discount, the choice is betweenLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - Standard Edition,F1 22, andnewly-releasedMadden 23. However, it looks like GameStop has the best selection of games available for bundling. The game store’s approach is a little different, as the shopper adds a game from a larger selection to the cart instead of preset bundles. There’s a limited selection there too, though, but in addition to previously mentioned games, one can search through around a couple dozen other titles.
Some of the games offered by GameStop might not be all that new, available on Xbox Game Pass, or they might be sold outside of bundles for much less than previously-mentioned, new AAA titles. Nevertheless, if the search is for a specific game, GameStop’s list is worth a look. Unfortunately at this point, it is not clear how long the discounts are going to be available, though GameStop warns of a limited supply. With this in mind, acting quick is beneficial to ensure a good deal on a new Xbox Series S.
