Borderlands 3players are in luck, as a new code for Golden Keys has been released. This Shift Code grants 5 nifty keys in celebration of the recently released Krieg DLC. This comes alongside news that there will be more content added in the future, soBorderlands 3vault hunters may want to hang onto those keys for now.
Borderlands 3looks like it has a long life ahead. After just finishing the celebration for its first year anniversary, the game has also launched the recentPsycho Krieg and the Fantastic FustercluckDLC. With the reveal thatBorderlands 3will be getting updates on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, now is as good a time as any to grind and hunt down any missing legendary items.

Rather than spending tons of timehunting down red chests for rare loot, these Golden Keys will give the player five chances at great level-scaled items. To redeem them, vault hunters just need to play the game until they reach Sanctuary, where the chest is located. From there, the code can be redeemed from the menu, under the Shift screen. The code for these keys is “C9KTT-HKJ6S-KFWRH-63B3J-ST6JZ” and the code is available until 11:59 PT on September 19.
With the Krieg DLC being out now, those keys may be able to get players some well-needed loot to take on the challenges inside Krieg’s mind. However, if players want to focus more on the new loot that was added, there are plenty of powerful guns and class mods waiting for them in the DLC.The new Krieg Legendary class modsare perfect for giving players some new skills to play with.
Even if playersmay not be able to play as Kriegin his own DLC, there is a ton of new content for them to explore. Class mods with special abilities, evil bosses, and fun side missions all await vault hunters inside of Krieg’s psycho mind. These Golden Keys are perfect for use in emergency when players struggle with one of the new fights. Simply pop open the chest, see what is inside, and use it against the new enemies.
With the announcement of more content coming later this year, some players may want to save some of these keys for the new content. There has already been an announcement of another smaller DLC adding afourth skill tree to each of the vault hunters. When this releases, many players will re-spec their characters in order to try the new skills, and they will need plenty of new weapons to try out.
Borderlands 3is available on PC, PS4, Google Stadia, and Xbox One. It is in development for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
