The intense conflict between Heroes and Villans rages on in Season 6, episode 6 ofMy Hero Academia, but it appears that the Paranormal Liberation War has only just begun, as Shigaraki emerges from his slumber to kick things up a notch.

His all-consuming Decay has been upgraded to unbelievable proportions and is now capable of leveling an entire city with one swift motion, leaving its mark with an unstoppable destructive domino effect. Gigantomachia is also more alert than he has been in the past few months and is eager to follow in his masters' footsteps, while Dabi wouldrather emulate Stain’s initiative, starting with Hawks and Fumikage Tokoyami’s demise.

Cemetoss vs Geten
Tempers begin to flair as the battle rages on at the Gunga Mountain Villa, where Geten has made some architectural changes to the landscape with his incredible ice manipulation Quirk. Mount Lady is subsequently overbalanced and her voluminous derriere makes a bee-line for Fatgum below, while Fumikage takes the opportunity to high-tale it out of there with an unconscious and wingless Hawks in tow. Cementoss begins to overwhelm the icy barriers with his cement-fueled powers and creates a colossal concrete club for Mount Lady, who has a field day as a demolition expert.
As the rest of the Heroes rally to their side to continue incapacitating the scrambling Villains, Eel Boy suddenly makes an appearance (but didn’t he die in episode 3?) As a homage toher dearly departed friend, Himiko Togahas taken on the form of Twice’s last victim and easily infiltrated the Hero forces, only to slice and dice them to shreds. Meanwhile, Dabi and Mr. Compress re-evaluate their loyalty to the Paranormal Liberation Front and assess their poor leadership skills but are cut off as Machia makes his grand entrance.

Testing Shigaraki’s Limits
After ensuring that Machia has his orders to unleash chaos and destruction on the world, Shigaraki begins with his own mission but struggles to remain focused as a niggly feeling keeps encroaching, urging the malicious prodigy to seek out One for All. Itdoesn’t take Endeavor longto pinpoint Shigaraki’s position and overwhelm his foe with Hell’s Curtain, which the miscreant simply brushes off as if he were just doused in confetti at a celebration. Shigiraki appears to share the same rapid regeneration as the High End Nomus did (but with the addition of his keen intellect and not-so-dead body), which heals his burns almost instantaneously.

Fully aware of thenew advancements of Shigaraki’s decomposition potential, Endeavor vows to inhibit the villain’s movement as much as possible, however, he doesn’t get very far with accomplishing his goal. Having also inherited Tomoko Shiretoko’s Search Quirk (which conveniently comes with all her previously collected data) Shigaraki can track certain individuals' locations (and weaknesses) with impeccable precision, and Deku is unfortunately already on his radar. All for One’s latest wielder blasts off into the distance, with the No. 1 Pro Hero right on his tail.
Deku’s Dedication
Burnin makes a grave (or serendipitous) mistake by allowing Deku to overhear her conversation with Endeavor, as the boy quickly realizes that he may be Shigaraki’s true target and subsequently races off to create some distance between himself and the evacuating civilians.Bakugo also puts two and two togetherand pursues Izuku, however, he is less concerned with offering protection and more invested in seeking revenge against “the man who ended All Might.” As always, Bakugo is taking this situation as an opportunity to one-up Deku and prove himself superior once and for all.

Annoyed by the Heroes' impeccable teamwork, Shigaraki cleverly combines two of his Quirks to disrupt the communications systems by simultaneously shooting Air Blast and Radio Waves directly at Endeavor. Unfortunately, the pair is still amidst the ruins of Jaku Hospital and close enoughto Ujiko’s secret laboratoryfor Shigaraki’s destructive electromagnetic blast to reach the rest of the Nomus. As fans have already learned from X-Less’s error, all it takes is a little electric boost to urge these overpowered zombies into action.
While Shigaraki gains momentum in closing the gap between himself and One for All, Gran Torino makes his move and swoops in out of nowhere, snatching upDeku and Bakugo in the process, before making a speedy getaway to the outskirts of the battlezone. After giving them both a good talking to, Gran Torino explains that they must keep Shigaraki in their sights at all costs, lest he is left to his own devices and ultimately causes the destruction of the entire world.

The Pro-Heroes Unite
On the Jaku Hospital Frontline:
It seems thatEraser Head may be the Heroes' only hope, but it seems even he has limited Erasure capabilities against the seemingly indestructible foe, even with Manual’s assistance (who uses his water-manipulating ability to prevent Aizawa’s eyes from drying out.) However, even with his Quirks negated, Shigaraki still has enough strength and sharp reflexes to effortlessly evade Endeavor’s inferno thanks to his bioengineered physique compliments of Dr. Ujiko’s experimentation. Essentially Quirkless, and still giving the No 1 Hero a run for his money, incredible!

Shigaraki has subsequently become the perfect Nomu embued with All For One’s incredible capabilities (and remember, he had only completed 80% of the process!) Just as Burnin and the rest of Team Endeavor’s forces arrive on the scene to assist, a hoard of Nomus make their presence known, and the mere fact that they even survived Shigaraki’s Decay in the first place proves how much control the youngvillain now has over his Quirkand can now pick and chose what to exterminate.
Next Time: Disaster Walker
Shigaraki evidently has a one-track mind and will not be satisfied until he gets his hands on One For All which, needless to say, would have simply catastrophic results if successful. While Team Endeavor already has their hands full withAll For One’s new plaything, they now also have the stockpile of Nomus to deal with. Things aren’t looking any better for Team Edgeshot back at the mansion, as Mount Lady does her best to hold the fort against Gigantimachia’s gargantuan bulk, with Ms. Midnight, Kamui Woods, and the rest of the Heroes contributing what they can to the battle. It seems that the Class A and B students will be called from the sidelines at any moment, as it is all hands on deck from here on out!
