It’s October, which means video games are starting their annual Halloween events. However, it appears thatMonster Hunter World: Iceborneis going to be a little late to the party, as it has announced aResident Evilcrossover that won’t get started until November.
TheMonster Hunter World: IceborneResident Evilevent begins in November, though an exact release date wasn’t nailed down. We also don’t know how long it will last, or if it will add theResident Evilcontent permanently or temporarily. At any rate, it looks as though theMonster Hunter World: Iceborne/Resident Evilcrossover will be adding plenty of horror-themed cosmetics for players to collect, includingResident Evil 2-themed skins.

Players will be able to get their hands on a Leon S. Kennedy skin and a Claire Redfield skin for theMonster Hunter World: Iceborne/Resident Evilcrossover. Additionally, they will be able to unlock a skin for the Handler that transforms her into theterrifying tyrant Mr. X. As one might imagine, this leads to some pretty hilarious cut-scenes.
As for otherResident Evilcontent coming as part of next month’s event, it seems as though players will be able to unlock aTofucosmetic for their weapons, and zombies will also play a role. The trailer is a bit confusing when it comes to zombies, as they appeared to just be other hunters, but we’ll find out more when the event starts next month.
In the meantime, theMonster Hunter World: Iceborne/Resident Evilcrossover event isn’t the only update that fans of the game have to look forward to. It was recently announced thatMonster Hunter World: Iceborneis receiving a free update on October 10 that will add a brand new area and monster. Upon downloading the October 10 update forMonster Hunter World: Iceborne, players will be able to visit a new volcanic area (assuming they’ve reached the Guiding Lands by completingIceborne’s main story), and it’s there where they will find thenew monster Rajangto hunt.
Between the Rajang update and theResident Evilcontent coming in November,Monster Hunter World: Icebornelooks like it will plenty of content to keep players busy for the foreseeable future.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborneis out now for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release coming in 2020.
