However, it was never made clear when Title Update 3 would drop, only that it was slated to arrive at some point in “Late November.” This guide will helpMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreakplayers understand when Title Update 3 will drop and predict what could come with it.

When Does Title Update 3 Release?

As mentioned above, Title Update 3 is set to arrive in late November with several new monsters. Title Update 2, as an example, was initially slated to arrive in late September, and it then went live on September 29th,bringing Flaming Espinas, Violet Mitzusune, and Risen Chameleos. Based on that information, it seems fair to assume thatTitle Update 3 will probably arrive around the 29th of November. For those unaware, Title Update 3 will be the final update forMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreakin 2022. Any future Title Updates should arrive in early 2023.

What Monsters Could Release In Title Update 3?

According to the officialMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Roadmap(as shown above), Title Update 3 is confirmed to have several new monsters, including Variants and Powered-Up ones. Of the current roster of monsters in the game, only two have Variants that are currently not in the game—those being the Variants Chaotic Gore Magala and Molten Tigrex. Of the two, Chaotic Gore Magala is more likely to be added, given the lack of Elder Dragons in the game andSunbreak already bringing back Gore and Shagaru Magala.

It is already well known that Shagaru Magala is the final evolution of a Gore Magala, from when it transitions into an Elder Dragon. However, in rare circumstances, if the evolution process were to be stopped mid-way, a Chaotic Gore Magala would be born. This unique Variant is precisely what one would expect: a Gore Magala mixed with a Shagaru Magala. Since the evolution process was stopped, Chaotic Gore Magala is one of the only monsters in the franchise classified as a mystery monster since it didn’t become a complete Elder Dragon but isn’t a normal monster anymore either. This would be a great addition to bring to Sunbreak to finish off the year in Title Update 3.

Of course, the developers could stray from Chaotic Gore Magala and Molten Tigrex and give a Variant to a new monster introduced inMonster Hunter Riseor the Sunbreak DLC. For example, in a similar situation, when the Iceborne DLC was released forMonster Hunter World, the final Title Update for the year gave the final boss of baseMonster Hunter World, Xenojiva, a new form. Technically, it wasn’t a Variant monster, but a similar situation could occur this time arounf.

For “Powered-Up” monsters, this is most likely in regards to a new Risen Elder Dragon appearing, as Title Update 2introduced Risen Chameleos. Chameleos are typically seen as a part of a trio of Elder Dragons that appear in Monster Hunter games, the other two being Teostra and Kushala Daora. Many are expecting either Teostra or Kushala Daora to receive a new Risen form in Title Update 3.
