What Does Sonic Barrier Melody Do in Monster Hunter Rise

TheSonic Barrier Melody temporarily creates a barrier of sound that negates knockback once. This means that aggressive hunters can complete their attack combos without being interrupted by monster actions. It may only negate one knockback, but a team of hunters with a dedicated Hunting Horn user can attack relentlessly if the melody is continuously played over and over in succession.

Couple that with agood Hunting Horn build, which includes effects such as healing or Defense Up, and there’ll be nothing to stop the party from overpowering a fearsome monster without any fear or hesitation.

With practice, Hunting Horn users can use their Melodies to boost their party into an unstoppable force. There’s more to hunting than just that, though. Players will want to use decorations to truly get the most out of their Hunting Horn or any other weapon. After learninghow to get Lazurite Jewelsand mastering other hunting techniques, there will be no quest that the experienced hunter can’t handle.

Monster Hunter Riseis now available for the Nintendo Switch. A PC port is expected to release in early 2022.
