Magic Arenais having a big month and wrapping up 2021 on a very high note. First, abrand new format, Alchemy, launched on December 8 and not December is coming to a close with ten crazy days of competition.

TheMagic ArenaDecathlon kicks off on December 18 and is going to include ten days worth of tournaments including various game types, so that there is something for every type of player. From booster draft toHistoric, the Dechathlon is aiming to get every player logged in and engaged over the holiday break.

The event is pretty large and there’s a lot forMagicfans to keep track of. Take a few moments to see which events are available each day and review thecosts and prizesassociated with each offering. The main goal will be for players to earn a Decathlon token and entry into the Finals on January 6.

Decathlon 1: Alchemy

Decathlon 2: Phantom Sealed* using three packs each of Innistrad: Midnight Hunt and Innistrad: Crimson Vow

Decathlon 6: Historic Artisan (banned list)

Decathlon 7: Historic (banned list)

Decathlon 9: Traditional Standard (Best-of-Three) (banned list)

Decathlon 10: Strixhaven: School of Mages Phantom Turbo Draft* (a bot draft with each player receiving an emblem with the text “All spells cost [5] less to cast.")

Compete in as many of the events as you like to earn prizes and a Decathlon token specific to each event. The more unique Decathlon tokens you earn, the closer you get to earning your entry to the Arena Decathlon Finals, the capstone event filled with amazing prizes! Plus, everyone who enters a Decathlon event will receive a special Arena Decathlete sleeve!
