Popular streamer and musician LilyPichu has been expanding her talents in recent years to include voice acting, and she now finds herself part ofLegends of Runeterraas a result. She isn’t the only one, as streamers making the jump into voice acting is becoming far more common as names such as Valkyrae,Corpse Husband, Sykkuno, and DisguisedToast find themselves landing roles between gaming and anime. However, if Lily’s post announcing her latest role is anything to go by, it appears it may be her most exciting, given her outspoken love for Riot Games' titles.
Lily sharedLegends of Runeterraon her official Twitter with a post celebrating her casting as the Disciple of Doran in Riot Games' digital collectible card game. The Disciple of Doran is a two mana cost card from the game’s sixth expansion set, Worldwalker, which focused on the game’s titular region and its native champions. Disciple of Doran, however, is not one of those new champions but instead a common card that can be pulled from any of the game’s many card packs.

The aforementioned Twitter post hints at Lily’s excitement over the part, as well, which may not be surprising to her audience given her history with Riot Games' various titles. Aside from producing music, Lily’s rise in popularity was added by her love for and time playingLeague of Legendsduring the mid-to-late 2010s. She continues to playLeague of Legendsfairly regularly with members of theOfflineTV and Friends circle, along with plenty of time put into Riot’s popular competitive shooterValorant.
Given Lily’s upward trajectory over the last several years, many in her audience would argue it was only a matter of time before she would find her way into a Riot Games title. She has already had the chance to lend her voice acting talents to several games and anime up to this point, with her role asSayu inGenshin Impactarguably being her biggest overall game role given Sayu is one of the game’s many playable characters.
It is also the latest notch forLilypichuin what has already been a very successful year for the longtime musician and content creator. In regard to the former, this past summer saw Lily perform live in her debut concert, ‘Comfi Beats,’ which could be seen online thanks to OfflineTV co-founder and member, William “Scarra” Li. She also made the jump to YouTube, joining fellow streamers Valkyrae and Sykkuno on the platform as it continues making inroads into the streaming space.
