In a tweet from PlayStation Game Size, the possible file size for the upcomingLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagawas revealed. According to the post, the download size for the game on PS5 is 38.182GB. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind with this news. First, this file size does not include a possible day one patch for the title. Secondly, this is specifically for the PS5 version of the game. With this in mind, it is possible that file sizes for other platforms could vary to a certain degree. Nevertheless, this news should give fans a decent idea of how much storage they will need to download this latest installment in theLEGO Star Warsseries.
Beyond revealing the file size for the game, this tweet from PlayStation Game Size provided several more details about the upcoming launch. The tweet noted thatLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagawill launch on April 5. However, fans will be able to pre-load the title a couple of days early, on April 3.
While this download size for the game is not small, it is far from the storage needed for many other tiple-AAA games on the market. For example,Elden Ringrequires players to have at least 80GB of spacefree on their PS5 in order to download the title. Furthermore, the popular battle royale gameCall of Duty: Warzonecantake up over 90GB, more than double the space needed forLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
It will be interesting to see what the fan reception is to the next installment in theLEGO Star Warsseries. Hopefully, gamers will have the necessary storage available to check out this newest adventure in a galaxy far, far away.
