Just as one might expect from a role-playing game, weapons play an important role inFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth, with each granting access to powerful new skills that can help turn the tide in battle.Every playable character who officially joins the partyhas access to seven different weapons, most of which will need to be found inside purple chests or purchased from weapons vendors. Cloud is no exception in this regard.
Other than his iconic Buster Sword, all of Cloud’s weapons inFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthcan be found in chests, meaning players will need to keep their eyes peeled as they make their way through the main story. Most of the chests are out in the open and so are very difficult to miss, but there are one or two that have the potential to elude players if they’re not paying close enough attention.
If players miss any of Cloud’sFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthweapons, they’ll be able to purchase them from a weapons vendor after completing the chapter in which the weapon can first be found. For some reason, though, Cloud’s Sleek Saber can be purchased before players have finished Chapter 2.

Cloud’s Crystal Sword can be found in a purple chest in the Freight Corridor area on the B2 floor of the Gongaga Reactor during theChapter 9Main Scenario, The Shadows Beckon.
