Now, players are getting a special gift fromHonkai: Star Rail’s newest character.
With Sparkle set to release throughout the day on different servers,Honkai: Star Railplayers have been treated to a surprise gift given out by the game’s newest character. Players can access the gift through their in-game mail, with Sparkle rewarding players with 10 Fuel and a special gift, granting players one of several resources. According to players who have already received the gift, the special inclusion can be Praise of High Morals, Trash, Credits, or potentially evenan Eidolon for four-star character Sampo. The note also references the fact that Sparkle is debuting inStar Railon February 29, the “leap day.”

Sparkle’s addition toHonkai: Star Rail’s roster is set to bring a unique new mechanic to the growing cast of the sci-fi RPG. Sparkle’s Talent, “Red Herring,” grants the player’s party two additional Skill Points, increasing the cap from the standard 5 up to 7 available Skill Points. Sparkle’s kit also heavily revolves around regeneratingHonkai: Star Rail’s Skill Points, with her Ultimate granting four Skill Points after being cast and her out-of-battle Technique also recovering Skill Points.Sparkle is expected to be a strong support additionfor Skill-reliant characters like Qingque and Imbibitor Lunae.
The debut of Sparkle comes as HoYoverse has already teased some of what’s to come in the game’s following version. Version 2.1 will introduce one ofHonkai: Star Rail’s most anticipated characters in Acheron, featured heavily in Penacony’s story and confirmed to beStar Rail’s version of Raiden Mei. Aventurine will also join the game as a five-star character during Version 2.1, with Gallagher being added as the update’s lone four-star unit. With characters like Sparkle, Acheron, and Aventurine on the way, fans will have plenty of opportunities to spend their hard-earned Stellar Jades.
