4Dr. Ratio - Guinaifen - Asta - Lynx
As a free5-star character inHonkai: Star Rail, it’s only fair to build a 4-star only team around Dr. Ratio. Starting with Asta, a decent ATK% and SPD buffer who can keep applying the Burn debuff on enemies. Guinaifen can also Burn targets with her Skill and apply multiple other debuffs because of her Nihility combat style, such as Firekiss from her Talent and Slurping Noodles from her E1.
Dr. Ratio greatly benefits when teaming up with bothFire units inHonkai: Star Railbecause of their DoT application, especially if players build him to make the most of it, like giving him the Prisoner in Deep Confinement Relic Set. These DoTs will trigger his Trace and Talent passives to maximize his role as a DPS in this Dr. Ratio team. As for Lynx, each team needs a kind of protection and Lynx is a perfect 4-star character for that job since she can heal and cleanse her allies. Of course, players can also opt for variations like Luka instead of Guinaifen and Natasha instead of Lynx.

Units like Guinaifen, Sampo, and Luka could make a strong DoT combo inHonkai: Star Railwhen paired with Kafka. For instance, Guinaifen will AoE apply Burn whileKafka will keep applying Shock and exploding themall. With three DPS characters ready, this Dr. Ratio team is missing Huohuo, a buffer, and ahealer inHonkai: Star Rail. She can increase the team’s ATK% while healing and regenerating a small amount of their energy. A perfect support for a very offensive team. you may also replace Huohuo with Ruan Mei if the stage has enemies’ weaknesses that match this team’s elements. She will help create an extremely offensive team that doesn’t give the enemy any chance to move, which will lower the importance of having a healer in the team.

However, like any other team that includes Yukong, you have to perfectly time each unit’s speed so that Dr. Ratio can always play immediately after Yukong and make the most of her buffs. For an effective team rotation, Silver Wolf should always start, followed by Yukong, and then Dr. Ratio. As for Luocha, he’s a very cozy abundance unit that doesn’t consume Skill points nor mind being anywhere in the rotation while always making sure the team is healed and ready for combat.

Dr. Ratio can indeed synergize with many characters. However, when building the best Dr. Ratio team inHonkai: Star Rail, you should consider adding Topaz for her follow-up attack buff.
For instance, this team has three buffers that work together to make every Dr. Ratio follow-up attack a devastating one. The first buffer, Huohuo, operates as a healer by cleansing and healing the team while she provides more ATK% and much-needed energy regeneration. Topaz and Numby can debuff an enemy and continuously spam their follow-up attacks every time an ally attacks the marked enemy. Not only that, they increase the follow-up attacks of allies on that target by up to 50%. As for Yukong, she’s able to increase the team’s ATK%, Crit Rate, Crit DMG, Imaginary DMG, and SPD at E1, making herone of the best Harmony unitsto pair with Dr. Ratio.
To make the most of this team composition,you have to time your hits so that both Dr. Ratio and Numby trigger their follow-up attacks four times in a row under Yukong’s massive buff. To make sure that happens, start with Huohuo’s Ultimate andcast Topaz and Numby’s Ultimate and Skillto set the target ready. Yukong should be next to Skill and Ult, which will set the field ready for Dr. Ratio.
